According to WorldAtlas.com, researchers have documented approximately 1.2 million animal species, which is far short of the 8.7 million they believe exist. Many have gone undiscovered so far and still others have gone extinct. All these animal species instinctively look to their Creator for food. He built that sort of trust into each species.
On this day, when the United States celebrates its independence, Christians would do well to celebrate their dependence on God to meet their every need. If He’ll care for animals, He’ll care for his children.
In Philippians 4:18-191, the apostle Paul thanked the church in Philippi for the gifts they had sent him, saying: “I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Never fear or doubt that God will come through for you. Trust Him to meet your needs.
Prayer: Father, forgive my doubt during my times of need. You are a loving God who takes care of His creation.
