Many people today; young and old, Christians and unbelievers are experiencing loneliness. Unbelievers are lonely because they do not have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Christians are lonely because they do not nourish the Holy Spirit with the Word of God. Loneliness is an attack from the enemy. Unbelievers fight attacks in their own strength. Human strength is not strong enough to defeat an attack. Christians fight attacks by the power of God Almighty Who dwells within them in the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit must be nourished with the Word of God. God's Word is our weapon against the enemy's attacks. It is the only weapon we need and it is the only one that works. When we meditate in God's Word, we are putting on His armor and preparing ourselves for battle!-Ephesians 6:10-18. Victory is ours!

The next time loneliness tries to show its ugly face, speak the living Word of God and chase him away. These are just a few verses. God will lead you to others if you ask Him. Remember, the Bible is God's love letter to us. God loves you. He never wants you to be lonely. Every time you read God's love letter, it is God speaking to your heart.

(Psalm 121:7-8)- The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

John 14:18-I will not leave you without help as children without parents. I will come to you.

Isaiah 58:9-Then you will call, and the Lord will answer. You will cry, and He will say, "Here I am."

Psalm 40:17-Because I suffer and am in need, let the Lord think of me. You are my help and the One Who sets me free. O my God, do not wait.

Psalm 34:17-The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles

Lord, remind us to speak Your Word as You lift us out of feelings of loneliness. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Love in Christ,
Jan :)
