Paul the apostle, got the same reverlation when writing to the church at
Ephesus, near the end of the letter he wrote this, finally, my brethren,
or to sum up all of what i have just said, my brothers, be strong in the
Lord and in his mighty power, put on all of God's armor so that you will be
able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil, do you see it child of
God?
Stand firm against ALL strategies of the devil, but you need God's armor,
and the armor is this, the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness,
shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of
the spirit,
now let's look at these parts of armor piece by piece and keep it simple,
first is the belt of truth,
Jesus said, "I am the way the TRUTH and the life," in fact just about every
time Jesus spoke he started the sentance with, " most assuredly i say to
you" which when transelated simply means i tell you the truth, glory to
God.
so to put on the belt of truth is to know the words of Jesus,
next is the breastplate of righteousness.
righteousness is right standing with God, or what please's God, Paul writes
in Hebrews 11:6 "And it is impossible to please God without faith", its as
simple as that,
and faith only come's by hearing and listening to the word spoken by God
through the lips of his son Jesus Christ, glory to God,
next are the shoes of the gospel of peace, gospel in the Oxford English
dictoinary translates, the teachings and revelations of Jesus Christ, wow
praise God! ,
next is the shield of faith,
Paul says "above ALL take the shield of faith to stop ALL the firey darts
of the devil, and this is the same faith that only come's by reading and
listening to the word spoken by God through the lips of his son Jesus
Christ,
next is the helmet of salvation,
Simon Peter wrote this "for you have been born again, not to a life that
will quickly end. your new life will last forever because it comes from the
eternal and living word of God.

To put on Gods armor is to put on Christ....the simplicity of His solution to our separation from Himself is a beautiful thing...a new birth...

Christ that binds His garment to me, Christ my breastplate who guards my heart, Christ the covering for my feet, Christ the covering for my head, Christ that shields me, Christ that that fights for me...

For you have been born again, not to a life that
will quickly end. your new life will last forever because it comes from the
eternal and living word of God. <3

We just must understand ? Jesus was born in the old testament , under the old covenant ! Some of what He said ? Was for that time period! Other things were for when ,He would become the New Testament , the New Covenant , The New priesthood !
We are of Him and in Him !

Heb_9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Heb 9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

Heb_7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Heb_7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.


Gal_3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
