Liars - just a joke

Dear friends,

I want to share something with you.

A pastor was about to start his sermon. He proceeded in this manner:

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. The topic that I'm going to discuss with you is on 'Liars'.

Now before I proceed to my message, I have a question for you.

How many of you have read the sixty nineth chapter of the Gospel according to St Matthew, please raise your hand up high?"

Some people raised their hand up high.

"Pastor had a smile on his face and he said, I like the way you responded. I never expected such a wonderful response.".

Pastor kept silent for a few seconds with a smile on his face. Then pastor said, "If you raised your hand up high, you are precisely the kind of people, I want to talk about, because there is no sixty nineth chapter of the gospel according to St Matthew.".

Just imagine what the people's reaction would have been.

Dear Brother Jari,

Pastors do need to be strict with the congregation. You know what, sometimes I see some people in the Church, whenever they get a call on their cell phone, they just want to pose infront of people and show that they have a cell phone.

While some people, they cannot bring a bible to Church but they can carry a cell phone to Church. My father said this point in a better manner:

"Some people aren't able to bring a bible weighing 100 grams to Church, but they can bring a cell phone weighing 200 grams to Church (and some of them literally pose infront of everybody)."

Isn't this ridiculous?

Some people carry a bible and they don't know what is written in it, but they know to keep a bible underneath their pillow before they sleep at night.

Richie, right, I see.
Our pastor has funny joke saying "so how was it, 10 euros for a one phone ring and 20 for longer." - when some one's cell phone rings.


But I think it has reduced because people just forget to turn them off and now we are displaying "please mute your cell phone" text on the screen at the start of the congregation.

If I was there I'd feel guilty because I knew I didn;'t read it..

Just a thought....Apart from the Pastor knowing that people have lied its also a good sign that the message was really from God, why? The people who raised there hands up really needed that sermon...they confirmed his subject
