I want to share the last chapter of a book I read a few months ago, its titled, HEALING IS A CHOICE by stephen afterburn

The Choice to Persevere:

"We have freedom now, bacause Christ made us free. So stand strong. Do not change and go back into slavery of the law."
Galatians 5:1

Let God create beauty from your ashes.

I believe that God will create beauty from your ashes. Something of great value will emerge out of your pain. And one day that pain is going to go away forever. You won't feel the pain anymore, but you will be able to look back on your life and know you made a difference. Replacing that pain will be a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Allow God time to bring the beauty that only He can create from a troubled and difficult life. There is beauty to be created from the painful episodes of your life.

If your life is riddled with pain, suffering and struggle, please do not give up. Surrender and persevere. Let go while you hang on. Never stop believing. Hang on to your God. Hang on to your faith, and hang on to your life. Make the healing choice to persevere, and do whatever you have to do to hang on one more day.

"If he stumbles, he will not fall, because the Lord hold his hands."
~ Psalm 37:24

This is beautiful Sister, that’s the purpose of our tribulation. I also want to share something Similar to this from a book I was reading by Watchman Nee. (The Spiritual Man)

Many will respond to his cry of nearly final despair "Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?" (V.24)

What is the meaning of this contention? It is one of the ways the Holy Spirit disciplines us. God has provided a whole salvation for man. He who does not know he has it will not be able to enjoy it, neither will he be able to experience it if he does not desire after it. God can only give to those who believe and receive and claim. When man hence asks for forgiveness and regeneration, God surely bestows it upon him. And it is through conflict that God induces the believer to seek and to grasp total triumph in Christ. He who was ignorant before will now seek to know; the Holy Spirit will then be afforded a chance to reveal to him how Christ has dealt with his old man on the cross so that he may now believe into possessing such triumph. And he who possessed not because be sought not will discover through such battle that all the truth he had was merely mental and consequently ineffectual. This will stir him to desire to experience the truth he only mentally had known. This strife increases as the, days go by. If believers will proceed faithfully without giving in to despair, they will incur fiercer conflict until such time as they are delivered.

God bless
