Leading Me

Floating weightlessly upon air,
like a glacier, never melts.
I feel the rays on me, here & there,
nothing like I've ever felt...

Like a shower of fresh rain,
cleaning up my soul.
for once there is no pain,
no loneliness, no cold.

Is He shining on my heart?
Trying to make me see...
that my heart & He will never part,
I just have to trust thee.

Am I so jaded that I am blind?
Or is just my stubborn self...
I know that I'm good inside...
but is that enough? I doubt myself.

Praying He knows every crevice of my heart
and knows the love I have for Him.
Knows that I tear myself apart...
and would leave this earth with Him on a whim.
