Last night's State of the Union address

I'm not from the US. I find these speeches are propaganda theater. Rep. Al Green ejected for his "Black People Aren't Apes" sign. Trump posted an AI video of himself playing hockey and punching a Canadian player in the face. We Canadians aren't dignifying this with a response.

All these are distractions from real issues. I haven't voted in many years in the charade of a democracy in the West.

One warning. Unless a politician specifically says "our lord and savior Jesus Christ" you can assume what they call god is the god of of this world, the fallen one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying one side is better than the other. Biden/Harris put gay flags on all US embassies and Trump removed them, an action all Christians approve of. Trump said on video during the campaign "I love Christians, I'm not Christian" and asked Christians to vote for him one last time. The "Jones Plantation" movie on amazon is a pretty good illustration of western democracy.

All politicians of significance are owned/compromised (Ep****n files is a glimpse) so any change you vote for is window dressing while the debt grows on and enslavement to those who create money increases. The beast system implementation moves on...

Not being from the USA, like I am, I can appreciate what you're saying. I criticize other countries and how they work as well, though I do love the UK Parliament where the PM has to face questions from the entire parliament. Better than most programming you get now adays. Also, you better have your wits about you there or the public will see how uninformed you really are in governing the country. But this state of the Union address here in the US is really for the public, who doesn't follow politics 24/7 like some do, so they can hear from the horses' mouth so to speak on the subjects they deem important, without the MSM or talking heads spinning it to accommodate an agenda right or left.

You can agree or disagree with what was presented by him, but the theatrics of the standing, clapping, or not standing or clapping is less important because all it shows is how partisan politics can be, regardless of what is said. When it should show unity of purpose moving forward.

As a young man I once attended a WWF event with the boys and we had a great time. Andre the giant was performing. One of the matches was a tag team between two good guys and two bad guys wearing black. The two bad guys would always send the second guy in to pummel the lone good guy 2 on 1 and when the second good guy tried to jump in to help and the ref would stop him pretending not to see that the two bad guys were both in the ring. People around us were screaming at the ref to look behind and see what the bad guys were doing.

The point is that both the good guys and bad guys worked for the same people and accomplishing the owners' goals. Western democracy (Canada included) is the same except the actors playing the bad guys are not wearing black. Trump is the good guy playing the role of saving the country. He is an actor with an imdb page and part of the WWE Hall of Fame. The objectives of the owners to grow the debt and implement the beast system moves forward regardless of the actors playing good guys or bad guys being in power.

May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

The world itself is not Fallen, that is a false teaching in itself. The only thing that is Fallen are the ways that mankind is walking at this present time. There are many people in the world who walk with God and of course there are many who do not.

To say that the world is falling would mean that all of nature and everything that God created would be fallen as well. So you can see what I'm saying that is not the world that has fallen it is the ideas of mankind and the path that mankind has been walking for the last number of years has been away from the truth

God cursed the ground. It seems thorns did not grow before this time.

The US still has a significant number of Christians and that is a wonderful thing. Thank God for that. US politicians are forced to cater to that group and pretend to somewhat share their values. In Canada the Christians are so few that our values aren't even in the conversation at all.

If you look at corporate CEO's they will openly admit that they serve the shareholders interests. In politics the leaders are servants/slaves to the debt holders (again PROV 22:7) but are not as upfront about it. No man can serve two masters. (MT 6:24)

I like your bird analogy. The debt/mammon is ensuring destruction of our countries and we are manipulated to stare at the left or right wing as the bird plummets inevitably to the ground.
I occasionally pray for those in power but not often enough. Thanks for the good reminder.

Right now USA is what I compare to as giving birth there is two fighting to be born ..
We don't war against flesh it is a spiritual battle . So I just keep praying for the Leaders to do what is best for their country..the last war is gonna be an all out spiritual one..
