God gave and changed my life forever
He gives life to me by His words, every time we are together
He gave me hope for my future ahead
He keeps and eye on me through my days, even when my eyes are shut in bed
He sits there and takes pleasure in everything I do
Even when I mess up, he’s still there to say I love you
Even through my hardest times He takes me under His wing
He gave me a gift of heart and a heavenly passion to sing
God has given so much to me
Its hard to imagine what my life used to be
He opened my eyes
Let me cry
while my hurtful past was left to die
By His grace I am here today
And I realise that He was the one through my days of rain
The only one that saw my pain
Reminiscing about this I began to cry about my sins on the cross
Then lovingly He told me that on that Day there was no loss
And as I felt His love cover me
In my hand He placed a small shiny key
And told me there will be days of strife
But He was that shiny key, and that the key was the key of life.
