The joy of the Lord is your strength.

Nehemiah 8:10

Whatever trial, tragedy, stress, or disappointment I may face, joy remains constant.
It continues to rise from the well-spring of God's loving purpose for me-I am of Him, He is with me, and no matter what, I will be victorious.

Once that deep-seated confidence possesses you, and the conviction of certain triumph grips your soul, you come to understand the meaning of the eternal word: "the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Thank you for the post.
I've been in a pit for a few months now and the reason was because I did not found God's joy in the storm.
I now know that I can still be joyful even if the storms of life rages around me, just because I know that: The storm will not last forever, God is with me and everything will work out for the best.
Your confirmation means a lot to me.

Its very important that we remember to praise him in our storms. Its easier said than done, but God will always give us the strength.

I love that song "praise you in this storm". I'm not too sure who sings it because when it comes to that type of music, they all sound the same to me LOL, but that song is really awesome.
