Hi All, nice to be in a polite forum!
I feel a calling from God to try and get atheists to at least read what the Bible says. So many of them have terrible misconceptions about what they think it says, or what others have told them it says.
I try not to preach too much, but its not easy. I have come to understand that much of the atheists' anger, is just jealousy at the happiness of Christians. They are such a miserable bunch! Cynical profanities at every mention of religion. But our Lord went through much worse than mere profanities, so I take heart, and think myself lucky to just be reading rude words from time to time.
Life in South Africa is much better than those newspapers say. Yes, in the big cities and ghettos there is crime. But if you have love in your heart, and you keep away from the inner city, its really akin to paradise! The weather is beautiful, though the sun may get a little too bright from time to time.
:shade:
And, we are lucky that all the races that live here have a strong Christian fellowship that goes well beyond mere skin colour.
Goodness! Here I am waffling on and on.
Anyhow, God Bless and have a nice day.
