Job 9:8-10

8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

8 God made the heavens himself, we see how myth became a part of their understanding, they knew God created everything alone but they did not have any scripture at this time but He could tread the water He put them their.

9 The names mentioned in this verse are modern so that we can tell what they are Job most likely had other names for them. God alone know how many stars there are and can count them all.

10 We can understand some of what the Lord has done but never can fully grasp it, it is one of those things when we learn more we see the twice as much as we don’t understand. Job is simple referring to God creating the earth as miracle, we often times don’t think about the earth itself being a miracle from God but it is.
