Job 6:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

15 My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away;

Job 6:14-15 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

14 “Loyal loveshould comefor the afflictedfromhis friend,
even ifhe forsakes the fear of Shaddai.
15 My companions are treacherous like a torrent-bed;
like a streambed of wadisthey flow away,

14 Friends come and go, there comes a time good friends will pass away, to have the Lord is forever. Job had his priorities all wrong, this may be the reason the Lord allows his good friends to talk to him because of him valuing their friendship more than his relationship with the Lord. We are to put no relationship before ours with the Lord.

15 Job was realizing that His friends were not as great as he thought they were, they were in their way defending God and not Job, they were wrong about things but they were saying one main truth that God was not doing wrong and Job should submit to Him, no matter how much we are living for Him we always could do more.

LOL How many times have you been in a tight spot emotionally, physically, or spiritually and other Christians dump stupid or insipid advice on you? Or judgments? They don't do it intentionally...Its quite simple....
1 Corinthians 3:19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
If we look to the wisdom of the world we will spout foolishness...What, though, if Job's friends had gone to God for advice to forward to Job? Could the results have been different? What if Job had gone to God for advice instead of to people?
Job and his friends were no different than we are today....When the manure enters your air conditioning system, go to the Father.
Another thing....We as Christians have soo many erroneous beliefs, doctrines, that do not line up with God's Word that our advice cannot line up with His Word.
