Job 5:26-27 King James Version (KJV)
26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.

27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

Job 5:26-27 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

26 You shall come in maturity tothegrave,
as the raising up of a stack of sheaves in its season.
27 “Look, we have searched this out—itistrue;
hear it and knowityourself.”

26 Sometimes people following after the Lord die young; Christ did not live past mid 30’s. This is the way the see things, life is not about how long it is but how long you live it for the glory of the Lord. Scriptures does promise a long life to those who honor their father and mother but it is better to live a short live and die in the name of the Lord than to live a long life without Him.

27 What they study is not known they may very well have came to this by watching people, there was no scripture to go by then, we today have scripture but we still have the same problem today that Job did people thinking things are true that are untruths, today we can determine the truth by the Word.

A person following the Lord is in a growing, like a child, and not everything he hears registers, or is understood at first. Health is a good example of this. When you receive this teaching in your spirit, you will believe it. When you believe it, you will see it, experience it. Having the information is your head is not believing it. It's just having the information. That knowledge, on any subject has to be received by your spirit...Then you will walk in it. You will not receive anything from God until you believe you receive it.

That knowledge is the raw flesh of our Lord Jesus. We have eaten his flesh but it must be quickened (brought to Life) in us by the Holy Spirit. This is why an insincere Christian or even an atheist can read the Bible and still not understand. The Word must be ALIVE inside of him.

I believe this is Eliphaz promises to Job that he will reach a good ripe old age, and not die untimely.

God said in Gen. Man shall live 120 years.
Man has taken the curse put on the children in the wilderness that they would not live past 70 and came up with this deal of 3 score 10 as Gods will for man to live.

That 3 score 10 was for a people who disobeyed God as punishment......God never said ALL men will only live uhntil 70 or 80 years old.

Jesus time on earth should NOT be looked at - as a set time for man or it is not the lenght but what yoou do.
No Sir God said man shall live 120 years on this earth. To not live it then is giving into death. We need to get this 120 years in our thinking and in our words....

Blessings
