Job 14:21-22 King James Version (KJV)
21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

Job 14:21-22 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

21 If his sons receive honor, he does not know it;
if they become insignificant, he is unaware of it.
22 He feels only the pain of his own body
and mourns only for himself.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

21 Honor was much more favored in those days, it was something that people wanted as their legacy before they died. We need to live in the honor of God and walk in his way with honor. Children need to be told when then do good and when they don’t, just as we need both from our Father.

22 We should thru the Lord have joy even if ours hard times, He is with us and comforts us. Pain and grief are both apart of life but so is good experiences and joy.
