Job 14:13-14 King James Version (KJV)

13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Job 14:13-14 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

13 If only you would hide me in Sheol
and conceal me until your anger passes.
If only you would appoint a time for me
and then remember me.
14 When a person dies, will he come back to life?
If so, I would wait all the days of my struggle
until my relief comes.

13 Job again states that he wanted to be dead. Job was staring to believe the lies of his friends and believed that this was an attack from God. God allowed the attack but it was from satan. In these times the greatest thing was for your name to be remember for generations to come.

14 There is life after death thru Jesus but without Jesus there is eternal hell, judgment. Job didn’t know answers to his questions but knew that he wanted a better life then what he was having, many of us do this without every facing the challenge Job did. Thru Jesus we grow thru times of troubles because by Him we get thru it often better. This situation would make Job even better.
