Job 14:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
14 Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.
2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not.

Job 14:1-2 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

14 Anyone born of woman
is short of days and full of trouble.
2 He blossoms like a flower, then withers;
he flees like a shadow and does not last.

1 We need to realize we are weak and helpless and need to the Lord because thru Him we can become strong and He becomes are helper, with Him we can get thru anything. All hope are born die, Elijah and Enoch were the only exceptions. Life isn’t easy some people do face more trouble then others though.

2 Our life is short but what do we do with it, do we let the Lord use our short time for Hi glory?

Job 14:1; "Man, who is born of woman, Is short-lived and full of turmoil.

This reminds me of James 4:14;
We are of a "few days" or "short of days".
James says we just a vapor that quickly disappears.
Jas 4:14; Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

We think if we live 100 hundred years we have lived a long time, and yet in the vastness of eternity we are just a blip.
And yet it is the decisions we make and how we live in this short life that determines how we will spend eternity.

And yet it is the decisions we make and how we live in this short life that determines how we will spend eternity.
I believe that how we will spend eternity, the decisions we make and how we live is primarily dictated by our first and most important acceptance of Jesus Christ as our personal savior,

This goes along with B-A-C's devotion (Bible study) on the woman with the bleeding disorder who touched the hem of Jesus' garment and she was healed. She was definitely weak and helpless, and she knew she needed the Lord, and the Lord healed her because of her faith.
