Job 13:19-21 King James Version (KJV)
19 Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
20 Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
21 Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.

Job 13:19-21 Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

19 Can anyone indict me?
If so, I will be silent and die.
20 Only grant these two things to me, God,
so that I will not have to hide from your presence:
21 remove your hand from me,
and do not let your terror frighten me.

19 Job is calling out God, which is prideful, Job wasn’t sick and lost everything as punishment but Job wasn’t perfect either, no one can ever be as holy as God because we have the flesh. Job was wanting to die because of the misery he was going thru, he wasn’t trying to end his life but wanted God to end it for him.

20 Job couldn’t hide anything from the Lord, neither can we He knows all and sees everything. We can’t truly bargain with God.

21 Job felt like he was being punished by God, we may have felt like that but we have to remember God has a greater purpose for things and He loves us.
