Job 13:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

Job 13:14-16
JuliaSmith 14 For what shall I lift up my flesh in my teeth, and shall I put my soul in my hand? 15 If he shall slay me shall I not hope? only I will prove my ways to his face. 16 Also he is to me for salvation for a profane one shall not come before him.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

14 We as Christians need to be ready to risk our lives for the faith, we could die any moment as people while life is precious it also is short and could end any moment, we should not fear death if we have the Lord, to die is to see Him face to face.

15 Our hope is Jesus. Hope should have still had hope because he knew the Lord. If God wanted to kill Job then why didn’t Job accept that, it is hard sometimes to accept what God wants, God didn’t want Job dead if He did Job wouldn’t be alive. Job just as us cant stand before the Lord pleading our case but we as Christians have Jesus who can and does for us.

16 Boldness can be a good, it depends on what we are bold for, we should be bold in the Lord but being bold in something else is often times pride. We are saved by faith in Jesus, in the Lord. Job being a sinner couldn’t truly face God, apart from Jesus none of us can face Him.
