Job 10:21-22

KJV 21 Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; 22 A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

Job 10:21-22 Jubilee Bible 2000 (JUB)

21 before I go, to not return, to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death;

22 land of darkness, as darkness itself, and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

21 Job thought that he would soon die, we pictured death as a dark gloomy place. Understanding of death in Job’s time may have caused fear but Job was fearing what his life had in store for him still more then the grave.

22 This is not a picture of Sheol but a closer picture to hell. A place of no light no understanding a place of no hope, this isn’t where Job would go where he died.
