Jesus the Truth

John 1 declares that Jesus Christ came to Earth to reveal God, and that He was full of grace and truth. Not only was Jesus full of grace and truth, but He is the Truth. Jesus made it clear in John 14:6, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life..." The Bible is the Word of God in writing, just as Jesus was the Word of God in human form. Jesus is the Truth and so is God's Word. Over and over in the Bible we are encouraged to stand firm in the truth of God's Word. David revealed that memorizing Scripture helps keep one from sinning. Paul compared the Word of God to a powerful sword, and the Truth of His Word to a belt that holds your armor together. Jesus taught that His words were truth and this truth would set us free. Remember, we are saved by grace through faith, but faith in what? We must have faith in the Truth of God's love revealed in Jesus Christ. He is the Way, Truth, and Life, and the only way to heaven. Do you believe the Bible? If so, then make a commitment to stand firm in the Truth of Scripture. Let God's Word wash and renew your mind on a daily basis. Allow His Word to keep you from sinning. Make His Word a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. Be set free from all that holds you down by the power of God's Word. "He who the Son sets free will be free indeed." God be with you all...

If the Son therefore shall MAKE you free you shall be free indeed. St. John 8

if we were set free we could be lost again, but since we were made free, salvation is

a once and for all act by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the

Cross.
