If you study Mathew 26. V 47 to 56, you will surely know this.
All His disciples deserted Him. So when we are alone, when our friends and even family hurt us, it is so inspiring to know that Jesus knows how this feels. Even as Judas kissed him, Jesus accepted it. He forbade His followers from violence.
I reflect on this and am amazed. What a lesson of acceptance and peace even in the face of terrible betrayal.
Yet look at us, how we react when anyone insults or hurts us? Jesus is our role model.
