    1. If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt, (10:94)
  • Muslims don't trust the Quran?
    1. "...and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus)..."; (Quran, 3:3). "...there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah..." (Quran, 6:34). -- The Muslims say Allah's words were changed by saying the Gospels are corrupt!!!! That means they do not believe the Quran!
      1. They will say that God's word is never changed, but the Bible is changed. They say it used to be completely true, but now it has truth combined with error. If that is so, then why do they quote it when it is convenient for them?
      2. The Muslims will say the Bible is valid when it agrees with the Quran but they will say it is wrong when it contradicts the Quran.
    2. The fact is that Muslims don't believe what Jesus said about Himself. They say the Bible is corrupt, but who corrupted it and when was it corrupted? If you don't know, then don't say it.
    3. Why is it that the Muslims continue to repeat the same old stuff that has already been answered so many times? Are they not interested in the truth? Or, are the just interested in repeating the same old errors?
  • Quran
    1. What is the real Quran? "Hudhaifa was afraid of their differences in the recitation of the Qur'an...Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. (Hadith, Vol. 6, Book 61, #510)
      1. (Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
        /hadithsunnah/bukhari/061.sbt.html Narrated Anas bin Malik.)
      2. If there were so many other copies that were destroyed, then we have no way of knowing what the real Quran said.
    2. Contradictions in the Quran
      1. Can Allah have a son?
        1. Yes: "If Allah desire to take a son to Himself, He will surely choose those He pleases from what He has created. Glory be to Him: He is Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all)," (Quran 39:4).
          1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
        2. No: "Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a son when He has no consort, and He (Himself) created everything, and He is the Knower of all things," (Quran 6:101).
          1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
    3. Scientific problems in the Quran
      1. ***** comes from the chest of a man: "Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted-Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs," (Quran 86:5-7).
        1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
        2. Ask the Muslim if the testicles of a man in his chest? This obviously says ***** comes from the chest.
        3. The verse refers to a "drop". A drop is separated from a larger body of liquid. Drops are not in the human body, but outside of it. Therefore, the verse is not about testicles, but the semen/***** mixture that has left the body during sexual intercourse. This is an obvious and blatant error.
        4. In Islam, if ONE thing is wrong in the Quran, then Islam is false because the Quran is supposed to be perfect, from Allah, etc. But, since the Quran teaches that ***** comes from a man's chest (Quran 86:5-7), then this proves that Islam is false.
      2. The sun set in murky water: "Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness," (Quran 18:86).
        1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
      3. Birds can talk: "And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)" (Quran 27:16).
        1. "And Solomon was David's heir. And he said: O mankind! Lo! we have been taught the language of birds, and have been given (abundance) of all things. This surely is evident favour," (Quran 27:16, Pickthall, trans.).
      4. Ants can talk: "At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it," (Quran 27:18).
        1. "Till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving," (Quran 27:18, Pickthal, trans.).
      5. Shooting stars are for driving away evil spirits: "And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire," (Quran 67:5).
        1. That is not what shooting stars are for. They aren't "for" anything. They are small objects in space burning up in our atmosphere.
      6. There are 7 heavens and 7 earths! "Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge," (Surah 65:12).
    4. Historical Problems in the Quran
      1. Crucifixion before it was invented: "Pharaoh said: Ye believe in Him before I give you leave! Lo! this is the plot that ye have plotted in the city that ye may drive its people hence. But ye shall come to know! 124 Surely I shall have your hands and feet cut off upon alternate sides. Then I shall crucify you every one," (Quran 7:123-124).
        1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
        2. Crucifixion wasn't invented until around 600 B.C., by the Phoenicians. The Egyptians didn't crucify anyone because it hadn't been invented yet. Muhammad didn't get this right when he made up this verse.
      2. Mary is the sister of Aaron and Moses: "Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing. 28 O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot (Quran 19:27-28).
        1. USC-MSA Compendium of Muslim Texts
        2. Mary was not the sister of Aaron. Aaron was Moses' brother who lived many many hundreds of years before Mary. Muhammad didn't understand the Bible very well when he made that verse up.
  • Hadith - the deeds and sayings of Muhammad. Very important in Islam.
    1. Adam was made 90 feet tall. Allah made Adam 60 cubits high (generally a cubit was 18 inches. Therefore, Adam was 90 feet tall) The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. (Hadith, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 543, Narrated Abu Huraira.)
    2. Muhammad is ordered by Allah to fight all people until they worship Allah. "Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah." (Hadith, Vol 1, Book 2, # 24) Narrated Ibn 'Umar.)
      1. Jesus said in John 13:35, "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
    1. Don't pass wind while praying: "Allah's Apostle said, 'The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Mu,salla (praying place)and he does not pass wind(Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him." - (Hadith, Vol. 1, Book 8, # 436)
      1. Eph. 1:7, "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace."
    2. A man slept through prayer time and the devil peed in his ear: "It was mentioned before the Prophet that there was a man who slept the night till morning (after sunrise). The Prophet said, 'He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated.'" (Hadith Vol. 4, Book 54, #492)

  • Jihad - Holy Struggle
    1. The Qur'an tells muslims to kill and go to war to fight for Islam: Surah 2:191; 2:193; 3:118; 4:75,76; 5:33, 8:12; 8:65; 9:5; 9:73,123; 33:60-62.
    2. Fight for Allah: "And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers, (Quran 2:191).
    3. Muslims are to battle for Allah: "Those who believe do battle for the cause of Allah; and those who disbelieve do battle for the cause of idols. So fight the minions of the devil. Lo! the devil's strategy is ever weak," (Quran 4:76).
    4. Kill those against Islam: "The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter," (Quran 5:33).
    5. Beheading: "When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger. 13That is because they opposed Allah and His messenger. Whoso opposeth Allah and His messenger, (for him) lo! Allah is severe in punishment," (Quran 8:12).
    6. Allah urges war: "O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand," (Quran 8:65).
    7. Slay non-muslims: "Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful," (Quran 9:5).
    8. Allah urges war: "O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination," (Quran 9:73).
    9. Allah urges war: "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil)," (Quran 9:123).
    10. Allah urges killing: "...the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist... 61Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 62(Such has been) the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah, (Quran 33:60-62).
    11. Beheading: "Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens..." (Quran 47:4).
    12. Allah loves those who fight for him. "Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure," (Surah 61:4).
    13. Kill the Muslim who leaves Islam: "...for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him,'" (Hadith Vol. 4, Book 52, #260).

      2. Also, see Volume 9, Book 84, Number 64, Narrated 'Ali.
    14. Jihad gets you paradise: "Allah's Apostle said, "Allah guarantees (the person who carries out Jihad in His Cause and nothing compelled him to go out but Jihad in His Cause and the belief in His Word) that He will either admit him into Paradise (Martyrdom) or return him with reward or booty he has earned to his residence from where he went out," (Hadith Vol. 9, Book 93, # 555).
  • Muhammad
    1. Magic worked on Muhammad. How can that be if he is a prophet? "Magic was worked on the Prophet so that he began to fancy that he was doing a thing which he was not actually doing," (Hadith, Vol. 4, Book 54, #490).
      1. Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
    2. Muhammad was a white man: "While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is Muhammad?"...We replied, "This white man reclining on his arm." The an then addressed him, "O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib." (Hadith Vol. 1, book 3, #63)
      1. Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
        hadithsunnah/bukhari/003.sbt.html. Narrated Anas bin Malik.
    3. Muhammad owned a black slave: "I came and behold, Allah's Apostle was staying on a Mashroba (attic room) and a black slave of Allah's Apostle was at the top if its stairs. I said to him, "(Tell the Prophet) that here is 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (asking for permission to enter)." Then he admitted me," (Hadith, Vol. 9, Book 91, #368).
      1. Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
    4. Muhammad had people killed: "Allah's Apostle entered Mecca in the year of its Conquest wearing an Arabian helmet on his head and when the Prophet took it off, a person came and said, "Ibn Khatal is holding the covering of the Ka'ba (taking refuge in the Ka'ba)." The Prophet said, "Kill him," (Hadith, Vol. 3, Book 29, #72).
      1. Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
        hadithsunnah/bukhari/029.sbt.html Narrated Anas bin Malik:
    5. Muhammad was a sinner: "The Prophet said, "I say, O Allah! Set me apart from my sins (faults) as the East and West are set apart from each other and clean me from sins as a white garment is cleaned of dirt (after thorough washing). O Allah! Wash off my sins with water, snow and hail," (Hadith Vol. 1, Book 12, #711).
      1. Index of /dept/MSA/fundamentals
        hadithsunnah/bukhari/012.sbt.html Narrated Abu Huraira:
    6. Muhammad taught lying was okay. "Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's Apostle! Would you like that I kill him [Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf]?" The Prophet said, "Yes," Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "The Prophet said, "You may say it," (Hadith Vol. 5, Book 59, #369).

  • Salvation
    1. "Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 102Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 103 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide," (23:101-103).
  • Women
    1. Voluptuous women await Muslim men in paradise. "Verily for the Righteous there will be a fulfillment of (the heart's) desires; Gardens enclosed, and grapevines, And voluptuous women of equal age," (Quran, 78:31-33).
    2. It is okay to beat wives: "As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly)..." (Quran, 4:34).
      1. Eph. 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; 26 that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word."
    3. Muslim men may marry up to four women, but no such provision is made for Muslim women: "Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice," (Surah 4:3).
  • Other
    1. Don't take Jews and Christians as friends: "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people," (Quran 5:51).
      1. In Surah 5:5 it says a Muslim can marry Christians and Jews, but Surah 5:51 says you cannot have Jews and Christians as friends... how does that work?
    2. The soul exits through the collar-bone when leaving the body. "Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), 27And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 28And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting," (Surah 75:26-28).
    3. Drink Camel Urine as medicine: Some people from the tribe of 'Ukl came to the Prophet and embraced Islam. The climate of Medina did not suit them, so the Prophet ordered them to go to the (herd of milch) camels of charity and to drink, their milk and urine (as a medicine). Hadith, Vol. 8, Book 82, # 794
  • The Bible is full of contradictions
    1. Saying the Bible is full of contradictions does not mean it is so. Can you provide a contradiction that we can examine in context? There are many websites that address alleged contradictions. Here is one: Untitled 1.
    2. The Quran says that none of the revelations of Allah are forgotten (2:106), that none can alter the words of Allah (6:34), that none can change Allah's words (6:115; 10:64). Do you then believe the Bible has been changed?
  • Jesus never said, "I am God. Worship me."
    1. True, but Jesus also never said, "I am a prophet," or "I am a man. Do not worship me." You do not make a doctrine out of what Jesus did NOT say. You make it out of what He DID say. Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM."
    2. Jesus also never said, "I am a prophet of Allah." Yet that is what you claim. There is more than one way to claim to be God in flesh. In fact, Jesus is called God in John 20:28.
    3. Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM," (John 8:58). Compare with Exodus 3:14 where God say, "I AM that I AM." The Jews wanted to kill Jesus for saying that (John 8:59). They wanted to kill Him because He claimed to be God (John 10:33).
  • The God of Islam is not holy
    1. The God of Islam is not holy because it accepts the sin-touched repentance and sin-touched sincerity of Muslims for forgiveness of their sins. The God of Christianity does not accept them because He is too holy to accept their sin-touched efforts. The God of Christianity provides what sinful man cannot: the cleansing of our sins by HIS work (on the cross), not man's.
      1. Is Allah Holy? Yes.
      2. Do Muslims sin? Yes.
      3. Can a Muslim perform works (i.e., sincerity of belief and repentance from sin) that is pure and holy in himself generated by himself?
        1. Yes, we can generate a work that is pure and holy.
        2. So a Muslim who has sinned can generate out of his heart, where sin comes from, sincerity and repentance that is pure and holy?
        3. If the heart is the source of evil against God, how can it also be the source of holiness and purity.
        4. A human, who has sinned, can produce his own purity and holiness?
        5. Yes.
        6. Now that you don't want to do it means that it is pure and holy? It only means you don't want to do it? That doesn't mean you are holy and pure.
        7. Would you say that holiness is a quality of purity, sinlessness, and absolute perfection that God possesses?
        8. Can Allah sin? No because he is pure and holy, right?
        9. If Yes,
          1. Then does man also possess it
          2. a Muslim can, out of the goodness of his own, produce holiness and purity.
      4. Is your sincerity of belief in Allah and your repentance from sin touched, in ANY way, by any of the sin that is in your own heart or are they completely pure and holy?
      5. So Allah accepts the
  • The God of Islam cannot perform the greatest act of love.
    1. The God of Christianity performs the greatest act of love by dying for those whom he saves. Jesus (the 2nd person of the Trinity) said the greatest act of love is to die for another (John 15:13). Jesus died for us. So, the God of Christianity can perform the greatest act of love, but the God of Islam cannot. Therefore, the God of Christianity is greater in love than the god of Islam.
      1. What is the greatest act of love?
      2. Jesus said it was to lay one's life down for his friends. In John 15:13 Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."
      3. Can Allah perform the greatest act of love? No.
  • Didn't Muhammad steal from Caravans? Didn't Muhammad kill many many people? Didn't Muhammad destroy people and villages? Hmmm... Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly," (John 10:10).
Even the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, practiced his faith in ways that contradicted the Quran. The Quran said Muhammad was sent to show the mercy of God to the world. But he became a military dictator, attacking, killing and taking plunder to finance his empire. How is that showing mercy? Allah, the god revealed in the Quran, is not a loving father. It says that he desires to lead people astray (Surah 6:39 , 126). He does not help those who are led astray by him (Surah 30:29) and desires to use them to populate hell (Surah 32:13).
This is very resourceful brother Chad, thank you for sharing.
I hope it's ok if I share it with my church members.

The angel of the LORD also said to her:
"You are now with child
and you will have a son.
You shall name him Ishmael,
for the LORD has heard of your misery.
He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
and everyone's hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
toward all his brothers." Genesis 16:11&12
Muhammed and Islam are decendents of Ishmael the Quran verifys this.

Islam is also hide its self as a good and peace religion which is mostly in Europe and the United State and that is which is not very Quranical so the real Muslims are the wild radical psychos that kill. There’s this country in Europe which I believed that it is a city in Norway and they have growing of radical Muslims where if that Muslim find that a person who is gay or lesbian or ever, that Muslims are order to beat them and stuff even when seeing two men holding hands and I guest they said it happens in a busy public area! < Heard that on the news. :embarasse:shock: If that was a Christian in a gay community, he/ she would evangelize the area without any physical harm.

I'm not sure where or how to post this, but this seems an appropriate place to begin. I have had several friendly exchanges with an Islamic lady who is determined to prove that Jesus is not the Son of God; and, the New Testament through his own words confirms that. Well, according to what she has recited to me.

I freely admit that I'm burning the candle at both ends spiritually, and that isn't helping. I have recently had a few exchanges with Muslims on You Tube who are less than enthusiastic about explaining Islam although they're very quick to scorn Christianity or avoid answering questions put to former Christians who are now Muslims. Whatever floats their boat.

While I appreciate that a great number of verses are meant to confirm or explain, I really feel the quality of one's relationship with Christ is about a willing obedience and a sincere love for others by way of good discipleship.

Trust me, I'm a bit (well, actually a lot) in over my head. I'm not looking for any specific verse or passage as a magic bullet, but would I be on the right track by declaring that one's walk with God isn't about rules, but about a sincere faith by obedience through love and wisdom? Yeah, it's about faith. Islam suffers that same predicament as even Muslims must decide by faith if Muhammad received righteous revelations from Gabriel.

I'm not interested in slandering Islam as I feel that attitude is counter productive, but in defending the Bible with a spiritual maturity, not anger. I don't have a problem if the other leaves in anger, but I don't want to become angry and ruin it. The Qu'ran is not without its problems, and Paul did not kill anyone after his conversion; the same cannot be said of Muhammad.

What I generally keep hearing from one person is that Jesus can not be the Son of God, and specifically nor can he be God. I'm often quoted passages from the Bible and the Qu'ran which support that Jesus was only a prophet, although one Muhammad could not equal, but never-the-less still a prophet. No reasonable advice refused.

No reasonable advice refused.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the truth, and accept what is told you by Him. Also, read the Gospels, let them settle in your heart not your head as you are presently doing.
