You can read here in the Book of Genesis that men called upon the name of the Lord. My question is, do any of you know what they were doing? How do you call upon the name of the Lord? What do you do? Did they know the name of the Lord?

Yes and i see it this way straight up, that Jesus the meaning of the word, points to salvation as he is our salvation, a saviour and it is to him we seek and in him we seek as he is our Lord the 'Christ'.
Now he is not God the Father but the Son of God and by that we see him as Emmanuel, that means 'God with us'.
So when it comes to the trinity we see how it is so.
As God sent his only Son ? to us humans not you dog or cat, but to us people only as we need a saviour other animals do not need a saviour as they do not have a rational soul. and are not in the image of God. and i don't think dogs etc have a tempter or the stain of original sin, do they.
So as for a understanding of his name i see it straight out as Saviour and Emmanuel first and foremost above everything other or we can end up getting off track.

Jesus is most certainly my Father. And His Wife, the New Jerusalem Church is my mother;

(Gal 4:26) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

In the trinity we see Jesus is God but not the Father as there is a differentiation as he is the Son of the Father, we can see that don't we. and the Holy Spirit binds all and that's how we see it.
Like when we are in the Holy Spirit, we can see Jesus and the will of the Father emanating from him. as the Son came down to us so as to enlighten us. as with out the Son, we can not come to the Father. all three are as one. but having different functions in a way of each interval deity or Persons as some may say.
If i know the Son, i know the Father. as there is no other way is there.

Some may talk about God, but if you do not know the Son how would one understand ? he came so we could understand or why would he of come. one big reason was the evil was in Gods vineyard. as we see the Prophets come to the vineyard and then our Lord Jesus. and the wicked got kicked out of the vineyard.
