Is the Warriors Book series a bad book for Christains?

Basic, Warriors is a book series written by four authors who share the name "Erin Hunter." Although focused on kids ages 8-15, the books appeal to many demo-graphical ages, and has many fans. While the books do contain important life lessons, such as friendship, loyalty, and compassion, there are several questionable features, such as the worship of dead cats, astrology, and necromancy. Latter on, Reincarnation (Or possession by a familiar spirit, upon careful study) was added into the book, as well as a cat with physic powers, several accidental sex changes, and cat;s being trained by the dead in their dreams and waking up with wounds, with at least one cat being fatally wounded.

So with that being said, Is warriors a good book series for Christians to be reading? Is it ok, or something to avoid

If it portrays worship of dead cats, astology, necromancy and such as "good" things, then its not okay. If it portrays them as "bad" things, it is okay. That being said, I cannot vote due to the imbiguity of said items.
