Inequity

Every single one of us should drop to our knees
And repent for all the little things that nobody sees
We're so quick to point the finger at everyone else
When we think that we are pure. we're only fooling ourselves

Inequity is is in us from the moment of birth
But the scripture says we're meant to be the salt of the earth
Corruption and perversion where our feet have trod
We need to be so grateful for a merciful God

The way we hurt each other brings the enemy joy
The wicked things we do, the way we kill and destroy
So many opportunities to walk the right path
It's a miracle the Father hasn't poured out his wrath

Realize that Jesus is the only way
Turn away from wickedness and get right today
We need to reconsider all that we have to lose
It's up to us, life or death, which path will we choose

Not bad, not bad at all. But dont feel the need to be bound by a rhyme scheme. It took away from the emotion behind it. You gotta FEEL what ur writing. Truly express it, let it go, if it doesnt rhyme all the time then who cares? We own our emotions so we can do whatever we want
