In The Eyes of God.......Your Thoughts?

Valentines Day is almost upon us, so a thought (not new)

Genesis 2:24​

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

A marriage certificate/formal wedding is a man made construct.

My belief is that, in the eyes of God, if you fall in love and consummate that love with sex before "marriage" then in the eyes of God you are now "One" and "Married". In which case there is only one way out of this reality - Divorce, which The Bible says is only allowed for:

• Adultery; and
• Physical Abuse (not in The Bible but this one seems like common sense)

I'm a firm believer that we are all created to only be attracted to a set number of opposite sex people we may meet in our lives. I also believe that a select few are steered into meeting a certain other and not by happenstance. That aside, we all know Gods feelings on Divorce:

Malachi 2:16

.....“For the Lord God of Israel says
That He hates divorce,......

So, in my mind there are a lot of adulterers out there who don't even know they are adulterers, as pre-marital sex is so rampant. It is quite sad.
