Dont grieve for me, for now im free
Im following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when i heard Him call:
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone, must stay that way:
I found that peace at close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss:
Ah, yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you sunshine for tomorrow.
my lifes been full, I savored much:
Good friends,good times,
A loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Dont lengthen it with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now,He set me free.

hello everyone @ talk Jesus, i went to a funeral thursday and this is the poem that was on the card for remebering the one who passed, I thought it was so pretty that i wanted to share it with everyone. Have a blessed day !!

It's touching and bring my tears...
how I kong for that day as apostle Paul said in Tim4:6-8 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
and in the end "there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain"~~"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes","for the former things are passed away."
after I became a Christian the suicidal thoughts turned into I'll be with Him forever~soooo attractive to me...
