If you’re a Christian and you support the modern geopolitical state of Israel, you deny that Christ is the Messiah. It's that simple.

That is the question in another thread.
Thank you so much for pointing that out.

(but I know you aren't a fan of Revelation)
It's not a question of being a "fan." The Revelation of John is not in our canon anymore than the Revelation of Peter is in yours. According to Eusebius, about half of the Bishops at Nicaea thought it to be spurious. But that's a question for another thread.

you have made Jesus into a human blood sacrifice to pay for your sins, not knowing what the scriptures say about ransom and sacrifice. How wonderfully pagan. You have turned the Messiah into a pagan blood sacrifice.

John 1:29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Rev 5:6 And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

Isa 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
Isa 53:6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.

1Pet 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

Matt 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

Heb 9:13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,
Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Heb 9:15 For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Heb 9:16 For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it.
Heb 9:17 For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.
Heb 9:18 Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood.

Heb 9:20 saying, "THIS IS THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT WHICH GOD COMMANDED YOU."
Heb 9:21 And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood.
Heb 9:22 And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

1Pet 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,
1Pet 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

Col 1:20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

1Jn 1:7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood

This is a core Christian doctrine, one of the few agreed upon by almost every denomination.

What a circus. It's always fun and giggles to watch you make a post that trashes a scripture verse.

Irony. You ignore half the bible to arrive at your weird completely un-Christian beliefs.

Are they Jews if they turn and follow Christ?

Does your daughter stop being your daughter if she converts to Christianity?

Are those now in charge of the nation of Israel Christian?

1. Does your daughter stop being your daughter if she converts to Christianity?

2. What is a Christian?

OOPS... A.D. 70

If I give you a car and it is stolen, does it stop being your car?

(And I think loosing six million of them is not much protection.)

Do Christians endure hardships for their faith? If they do, is it evidence of them being evil and God abandoning them as a result?

That is the question in another thread.

Rom 2:26 So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?
Rom 2:27 And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law?
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.

Gal 3:7 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.

To me at least, the Bible uses the word "Jew" in 3 contexts, with (at least) three different meanings.
1. You can be a biological Jew, a biological descendant of Isaac. Gen 17:19; Rom 9:6-7;
2. You can be a person that follows Judaism, the Jewish religion. (even if you are a Gentile) Esther 8:17; Rom 2:17;
3. Or you can be saved-believer, a born-again Christian. Gal 3:28-29;

Possibly Rev 2:9 and Rev 3:9, as well (but I know you aren't a fan of Revelation)

A Jew is both ethnicity and religion. Hebrews became Jews. All twelve tribes had to take part in religious activities and listen to what prophets said. IE All Hebrews had to become Jews. That is why today the term is used as their ethnicity.

It is important to understand this fact before trying to grasp scripture.

The term 'Jew' Jesus alludes to in your scripture is purely from a religious view. God wants Jews to drop Judaism and become Christian. This does not mean Jews stop being ''Jews''. That is why the correct term for a Jew who converts to Christianity is 'Christian Jew'.

They don't ever stop being ''Jews''. God's people chosen to be the holy bloodline of Jesus.

So now, you applaud Paul, when you disown him so many other times? I guess its convenience of winning any discussion, its all about winning, not about the truth.
Opening up a can of worms here aren't you? lol

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

If you think about it, Jews are the only people to ever be given a piece of land by the Creator of all. Everyone else took land and made it their own. Jews can tick both blocks, everyone else only the latter.

What about the other descendants of Abraham? The Arabs, the sons of Ishmael?

To be fair, God allotted it to them and helped them in some of the harder battles. But they still had to "take" it from those who were holding it at the time. I see this as purposeful in God's eyes. He wants us to be brave and fight for what is right and good.... not be babies our entire existence crying to Daddy for more food and no responsibility.
