If all we have is Hope in this life?

One of the most profound words Jesus ever said was, “I am the resurrection, and the life” (John 11:25)
What does that mean? How was Jesus the resurrection and the life. Jesus came bearing seed within himself in the same way Adam bore the entire human race as seed within himself. Jesus is known as the “last” Adam. (1 Cor 15:45) We were given life in the same way we were made a sinner in the first Adam.

When Jesus died on the cross so did all of his seed within him die. We are his seed (his Church) that was placed in Jesus Christ before the world ever began. We were chosen in him before the world began.(2 Tim 1:9) (Eph 1:4)

In him was life, and the life was “the light of men” (John 1:4) Men were living in the Word in the beginning!!!

When Jesus was raised from the dead, so was the Church raised from the dead.

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved:wink:
Eph 2:6 And HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS:

Col 2:11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by PUTTING OFF THE BODY OF THE FLESH, BY THE CIRCUMCISION OF CHRIST,
Col 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which YOU WERE ALSO RAISED WITH HIM through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, GOD MADE ALIVE TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

Notice: Your physical body gains no benefit from this resurrection as it has been “circumcised” (cut away) from the spiritual man which was raised with Jesus Christ to the right hand of God.

As the scripture says if all we have is someday we will be with the Lord, and the only thing we have is a hope of this future event, and nothing else, we will be the most miserable people on this planet!!!!

1Co 15:16 And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised.
1Co 15:17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.
1Co 15:18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost!
1Co 15:19 AND IF OUR HOPE IN CHRIST IS ONLY FOR THIS LIFE, WE ARE MORE TO BE PITIED THAN ANYONE IN THE WORLD.
1Co 15:20 But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.

Thank God we are sitting in Heavenly places in Christ, not hoping for some future event that has already happened when Jesus was raised from the dead. It is our physical body that we are waiting to know once it is changed into a supernatural body with out any nagging sin of the natural flesh that seems so easy to trip us up!!

“Hope deferred makes the heart SICK” (Pro 13:12) People are “miserable” when they are sick. The Lord has mercy, and his grace abounds towards us all the time. There comes a time in which we should grow up spiritually, and begin to actually “believe” what the Lord God has said, and done to us, and for us from the beginning, so we can begin to experience our self it's reality.

As always, we can not experience anything of God's Heavenly Kingdom that we don't know, and we can not believe (have faith in) in anything we don't confess. We must know first, and confess it before we can believe in it, because that is where faith comes from. What we believe is what we experience!!!
