Everyone is going to die Sarah.
It is just part of life.
In the last year my dad has gone from a healthy man to a man how can't get
out of a chair without help.
He is slowly dying because his kidneys quit working and now 3 times a week they drain the life out of him with dialysis.(they take off between 8--14 pounds each time)
As for your mom dying i guess it was just her time.
I wish i had the answers you were looking for but i no i don't.
Did you believe in God before your mom died?
Are you just mad at God because he took you mom?
You came seeking for answers just seek them from Jesus and you will find them

Sarah while I am sorry to hear of your loss God did not "take" your mother. Because of sin there is illness and death. Not sin from what your mom did but sin in the world. Because of sin there is illness and death. They are side affects.

God is not punishing you He loves you weither you believe in Him or not.

Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, or your ways my ways, says the Lord.

I can not fully tell you why some die when they do or why things happen they way they do. One day we will have answers. But being mad with God is only going to hurt you!

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Please feel free to contact me if you want to talk

Hello Sarah, welcome to Talk Jesus.

We Christians believe that a) there is a God, and b) he loves us. The question you ask is basically the same one my sister and brother-in-law asked back in 1990 when my nephew was accidentally shot and killed as he was out doing some target shooting with friends. My sister and brother-in-law are good Christians. How could this happen in a Christian family?

Bad things happen because we live in an imperfect world. God gave us free will and, at the very beginning of time, the first people he created used their free will to ignore his word to them and through that act, evil was injected into the world.

While God is perfect and all-powerful, he cannot "uncreate" what he created. That would be a violation of his nature. His creation is perfect, therefore beyond being "uncreated".

Though it doesn't seem so to you right now, God is also loving. Loving is his nature.

I would hope that you not give up on knowing God. Pray to him. Ask him for a sign that he exists and that he loves you. I'm betting that he will come through. How and when he will act, I don't know. But, I believe he will act and let you know of his care for you.

Sorry to hear of the death of your mother. I don't know, when my day of death will come. But I know when my day of everlasting life did came, when God did touch my heart and showed me the way to heaven! I don't know the days I will life on earth, I only know, that they are counted, but I know that my days in heaven are uncountable! I may go through rough hard times on earth, but sometimes I see the Glory of God still on earth, and I know the best part will come! And this joy is filling my heart. The joy of God is my strength and my power. With my God I can jump over walls! Just because I did allready die! Yes, I did die, 15 years ago! I did die when I met Jesus. The old Olli had to die in his sins, by repenting it to the God, but I did get the grand pardon in Jesus, because he took my punishment and my death, wich is the fair judgement for sin! Noone can exist infront of our holy God! Only in Jesus is it possible, he died for me. That's why I got everlasting life! And this is waiting for you too!

May God bless you and comfort you!

Shalom,

Safari-Olli
