Father, Father, Father,
Hear as my heart rises to You,
To honour,and I adore you.
I always want to be sure,
That my praises are honest and pure.
That You yield to it always,
For You, Oh Lord, are beyond praises.
If I say I won't praise You,
If I should just keep quiet,
It is all to my peril,
For You are clothed in light,
And shine, You always in my nights.
Revealing all I could hide,
Laying them bare by your might.
But if I kneel, and plead.
Forsaking all evils,
You graciously fill me.
And if I say, I will honour Him,
Even that is not good enough,
I will Adore His Name,
Yet He has a renown.
So Lord, be pleased with my praises,
Because that is all I can offer.
Hear as my heart rises to You,
To honour,and I adore you.
I always want to be sure,
That my praises are honest and pure.
That You yield to it always,
For You, Oh Lord, are beyond praises.
If I say I won't praise You,
If I should just keep quiet,
It is all to my peril,
For You are clothed in light,
And shine, You always in my nights.
