I wrote this poem thinking about someone that means alot to me in my life...


I Pray To God For You

At night before I go to sleep,
I pray this through and through.
He knows it means alot to me;
I pray to God for you...

I ask Him for His guidance
on the pathway to your dreams.
For His Word to light your feet
when the road tormented seems.

I ask for laughter, smiles
when the rain ceases to end.
For your heart to fill with joy
and every minute in Him spend.

I pray He'd use your gifts
in a way that's so surreal
that your lyrics and your music
make people see and kneel

I pray that He'd send angels
to protect you every day
To bestow upon you blessings
and friends along the way

I ask that you'd find treasures
in things both great and small
that Love be with your family,
your best friends and your all

I ask all this in Jesus's name;
the only name that's true
For I know He will be listening
as I pray to God for you...
