I need God

Honestly I have been ill for a whie and it has felt like I have had spirits within me telling me that I will spend eternity in hell. I would pay the sacrifice if it were for God and the problem is that I have never been able to understand that Jesus has already paid that price. My life is broken right now...I love God so deeply and right now don't even know if he loves me. I am hurting and the pain is taking me away from my children and my life.

Please if you could..pray for me.

Hi Pixie, It is true Jesus knew every step you would ever take, every mistake and foolish act you would ever perform and yet He died on the cross for you.
This is love my friend, He became sin for you that you would be holy and acceptable in God's eyes.
This is provision, His blood covered you completely and your sins are remembered no more.
Do not listen to any voices except that of the Lord.
The enemy of your soul offers doom and death but Jesus offers overcoming eternal life.
The enemy says you are defeated and yet your victory is complete in Him.
The enemy says you will die and not see God yet He has promised that no force in heaven or earth could wrest you from His hand.

Anything that separates you from God is to be cast down. Nay thought, any voice that hinders you drawing near is to be refused and rejected as the lie it is.
I will be praying for you my friend.

I pray that God will reveal Himself to you, that you know and undersatnd that He has loved you from the very begining, loves you still and will never stop.
No matter what you think that you may have done or haven't done, I pray that God reveals His truth, that He will never remove His love for you.
God has perfect love, and in His perfection, He has the capacity to love you like you were the only human in the Universe; that is a power that you can believe in.

Thank you both for your wonderful messages of God's love. I always pray that God is speaking through others right to me and as I listen to your words, I am listening to God's love for me. You are both wise in your Christian love.

1st of all God's love is agape (unconditional) thus He loves all no matter what they do or believe.

Romans 5:6-10 (RSV)
6 While we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man--though perhaps for a good man one will dare even to die.
8 But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
9 Since, therefore, we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

Also, consider it a possitive sign from God that you live in Port Hope, Ontario.

Praying God brings the truth to light.

Will be praying for you sister pixie All things work together for good, to them who love the lord. Hold on to your faith witch has a reward that comes with it. See today's scripture, we need endurance and some suffering is needed to have it. Jesus said that if any man was to come too him, he would in no wise cast him out. He will build a Church and the gates of hell will not be able to overcome it.

Psa 34:18 The LORD is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope.
Psa 34:19 Good people suffer many troubles, but the LORD saves them from them all.

Thank you rlowe and Fellowservant. I am visiting the site daily now and am keeping a journal. My heart hasn't received joy yet...but I believe that it can. I was taught religion in a doctrine that did not reveal the true Jesus. I need to learn from scratch, His love and the love of the Holy Spirit. I thought I knew..but I fell. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. I need the love of the Holy Spirit...it is a shame that I ever left Him. I need the love of Jesus and I believe that I can be shown His love. I do have friends that are Christian and they are showing me too. Thank you for your concern.
