All I can say is wow god is good. Hello every on my names Justin I'm from Ohio, yes its as lame as it sounds lol. I'm 27 raised Christian took a ton of wrong turns but here I am.
I actually came looking for a forum to tell my story about a real spiritual battle I went through that was like something straight out of a movie but well get to that later.
As I'm scrolling through reading so threads and comments oh that rush I have not felt that in so many years and its amazing. Nothing but smiles right now. Ive been searching for this for awhile I guess god is telling me I'm here for a reason. Wow sorry its a great feeling!
I have to go to bed so i cannot tell my story I came here to tell right now but ill give a short summary.
Grew up in church good kid parents go through nasty divorce at 16. This lost soul was one of the cool kids in highschool what better way to not think about the problems at home than to do drugs and drink like a fish. My party years continued life wasn't bad but it wasn't good. I got hooked on pain pills about 19 years old and was an on and off again struggle untill I was 24.
Here's were things get interesting best friend and roomate dies in car crash at 24 my brother the only person I could realm talk to and count on. I handled I well considering I didnt turn back to drugs.... Then booom nasty accident snowboarding biiiig jump only to use the back of my head as my landing pad. Bad concussion which then caused something called pcs post concussion sydrome. I hope no one ever has to go through this in there life. Depression anxiety insomnia and I mean daaaaays and days. Dizzyness puking u name I ya that's pcs the worst possible feeling ever.
So 4 months go by I still have symptoms but they are getting better then what do u know boom trip fall bad of head another confusion. This time the pcs is even worse obviously. I'm having 2 day long anxiety attacks talk about hell sorry but it was bad. Doctors didn't want to give me any narcotics because the fear of how messed up my brain was. I broke I couldn't do it after being awake for three days having non stop anxiety attacks I bought some xanax. Like I already knew anxiety attack gone still felt horrible tons of other symptoms but no anxiety and could sleep.
I was taking them for awhile but stopped my symptoms were getting better this was about 3 or 4 months later. I was even back to work part time I had hope. Then one day fishing on the river bank slip in the wet grass and Yu you guessed it boom back of the head on a tree stump!
I slept for 3 days when I awoke I was talking to a dolphin next to my bed who knew I spoke dolphin. Luckily I had a girlfriend there to know something was really wrong and to the hospital I went. In and out of hallucinations I went I still remember them all by it would take me all night. If you have ever lucid dreamed thats what they were like which if u know anything about lucid dreaming dont do it. When we are dreaming we have the potential to enter a spiritual state or relm.
6 days awake strait hallucinating in the hospital oh and a ton of siezures that almost killed me. All of my dreams were pleasant untill about the 5 night. Things go weird but on the very last night I had a huge spiritual battle. My mom said she had to leave because she could feel an evil presence that night my girlfriend who did not leave my side for 6 days left because she felt it and was terrified.
Ok I lied in telling alot of the story I was in a hotel room with two of my friends playing music as we always did. Then the walls started morphing a blood like color. A snake slithered from under the door only to morph into a bigger snake. What words the snake hissed out of his mouth I dont know I was gone out the door before he could ramble a sentence. Upon leaving the room I cant explain the place I was I realm dont think it was hell it was more like an apocalyptic earth. Everything was dead no grass if there was a tree or bush they were on fire.
I turn around and none other than the snake who was even bigger and different looking was staring me I the eyes. You cant run you cant hide... Ill never forget when he said that. I bolt gone by I cant see there's dust or ash all through the air. Evil almost like zombie type body's were coming out of the ground just like in a movie. At this point I seen a light oh what a light although dim from the ash in the air. Thats when I heard follow the light. I honestly would of thought it was a trick but it was ash and fire everywhere I went for the light.
As I ran as fast as I could I came to a hill a big steep hill and the light ended at the top. Oh and I'm still being chased but once I reach the top ill never forget this the image is clear as day. A beautiful white horse more beautiful horse than ive ever seen. With gold tassles and sattle. I was told to get on the horse and then to take the sword from its side and slay the snake. I know I sound insane right now but this is exactly how I happened. The thing was that snake shifting snake was no long a serpent. It had morphed into a big red burning creature with fire like eyes thats when the horns grew. When I say horns I dont mean like stubs I mean horns like a ram huge and rolled back and the most evil looking thing u could imagine. He muttered your mine I drew the sword and charged!
I cut his head clean off but once I did it transformed back into a snake and slivered away. After all of that I had finally fell asleep and awoke in the morning. After spending two more days in the hospital to make sure I was ok my moms talking about how worried they were and how her and my girlfriend felt a heavy evil presence in the room the night before. I look at them and said thats because there was. The look on there faces ill never forget they wanted me to explain. I started to talk and say the devil mom but he's gone she immediately starts praying. The devil what do u mean Justin? I was so terrified of what I had just went through I only said he was here but god saved me its scary mom its so scary I cant talk about it. It took me almost a year to tell anyone.
Get out of hospital and ofcourse I have pcs again and bad but I'm alive. I contued to be half asleep and I would see a normal persons face slowly shift into others. Then it finally would always end in that giant devils face smiling at me. I would get up and pray and it would be better. He toyed with me for months but finally went away he drew the white flag thanks to go almighty. Most people I tell the story to think a I'm making it up or b ive lost my mind but this is my experience.
I didn't tell to many people but one day about a year ago I wrote a short version on facebook it ended up being shared by alot of pastors about battling the devil. prayed and tried to figure out why I went through that and have had no answer from god. Tonight was the first night in 10 years I felt the holly spirit its such a great feeling.
Anyways sorry for the book in really interested in your comments and also what u think it all meant just a battle for my would or was it a sign of me being important in gods plan again Satan? Thanks omce again looking forward to hearing what you
