Jesus is not your "church", your church name, will not survive His wrath, and all the work, you put in it, there will not be a speck of ash left. Jesus came not to build churches, but to do the "Finishing work of a New Creature! Which is "The will of God. God does not dwell in Temples, neither does He wants too, that has been tainted by the hands and the whims of a man. And what so ever is "highly esteem" among man, is "Abomination" unto GOD"! Jesus play's NO second fiddle to none.

It has been declared By Him and by His actions from "Genesis to Revelation" to His OWN dis-obedient stiff- necked people, to them He has declared Him self.

"I came unto my own and my own received my not", "they honor me with their mouths and with their words , but their hearts are far away from me" "teaching in their churches , their Synagogues, their doctrines for "the doctrine of God" and claim they love me and keep not my commandments.

John 14:21
"Whoever has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him"

Are you sure that God loves you, are You sure! and what did JESUS say in the above verse. "The Christ of God".

and I am just warming up! I am going to "proclaim" "The Christ of God", if God helps me, to the Fullness"! So i am going to say it now, many are not going to like it!! "I'm going for the Mark"! To those who have wisdom.

Ploughboy, that is a very arrogant post. Why are you so aggressive, in a forum of people who are generally friendly. You start the title of your post with I am, in capital letters; I AM, is the name of God himself. Then you ask a Christian site whether they are sure God loves them, then you say you are going to proclaim the Christ of God. I thought that was what we all do on talk Jesus, or don't you believe we are Christian?

Laying the foundation for the "Proclamation" and to refresh others memory: "for the Holy Spirit is also a "reminder" of the the things Jesus has said to you the "scripture".

The Message of the Cross
18For the [proclamation] of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; [Jesus said that].
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”b [Jesus said that]
20Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was [proclaim] to save those who believe.
22Jews demand signs and Greeks search for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,c 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom,d and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. [walking in weakness is strength] being abuse by mankind and walking in it, is walking in the "power of God". "he that say he knows Him, should walk even as He walked" embracing the pain.

Wisdom from God

26Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast in His presence.

30It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. 31Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”e

Child of God, He did not choose you, to replace "strong" but to be crush by the strong in them doing so, they will enter the "eternal hall of shame".

Child of God, you are not the "Replacement Team". Your wisdom is being shape for another place and it is not to be compared to the wisdom of this world.

(1 Corinthians 2)NIV.
6We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9However, as it is written:

“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived” b
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
10these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.

I understand, every thing you are saying, now may i say this: Do the the work of The "Bereans". "I am going for "the Mark" i did with kindness stated where I was going. and I did use clear "Biblical terminology". I am not the the "Antagonist" in this "Proclamation" and I would appreciate your prayers for me in this "presentation"

(Galatians 1)
10Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

and feel free to criticize me in anyway that is comfortable to you, I will take it kindly.

There is a fire in me, i cannot run from it. It is His "WORD". Line upon line, precept upon percept. Especially the conversations a person has with his "Father" it has nothing to do with success. Has nothing to do with victory, for the battle, has already been won. Maybe it might be that "one sheep".

I remember one time we had it out! He told me in his word what he was going to do with me. and I cried, and I ask Him angrily, why me? His reply: "Why Not YOU! You was bought with a price" you are not your own, you belong to me! I heard those words clear as Day! I told my friends, what was going to happen to me, they said : no way! Everything happen just like HE said. AND in layman terms, it was a mission to carry the word of God that was in me. I will not tell, i will not tell, i will not tell, I will not tell. But i have never experience the manifestation of and results of the "proclamation" of the word of God.

So feel free, to voice your corrections on any of part of my "proclamation" of "The Christ of God". for it is, in :Iron sharpens iron" dialogue.

So ladies and gentlemen, let us beginning, choose your "weapons', for I will choose "The Word of God"! "

7I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8Watch out that you do not lose what we a have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

New International Version
Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

New Living Translation
Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work.

English Standard Version
for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

Berean Study Bible
Whoever greets such a person shares in his evil deeds.

Berean Literal Bible
For the one telling him to rejoice partakes in his evil works.

New American Standard Bible
for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

New King James Version
for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

If you are guilty, now is the time to repent. But a deceiver, will try to convince you, that it is alright, to have a cup of coffee, or Tea cakes during Tea time, with them and some will say it is alright to present them "The Christ of God". Do not believe, their report!. it is a trap. Your strength comes in the abiding in the word of God. "do you really love God"? If you do, what will you do? Keep His commandments " The Commandments of Christ" The Commands of The Anointed One"

English Standard Version
And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!”
(Luke 9:35).

(1 John 2).
3And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love [the word] of God is perfected. [ in us] By this we may know that we are in him: 6whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

Note: This is for some, who are "truly" "Born from Above" who truly are saved but are to get closer to HIM. and the others you are living on dangerous ground! and true saints just because we are "born from above" and have the Holy Spirit flowing in us, does not mean we know Him, we grow into HIM by Obeying the "Christ of God". Your salvation is not question here. You must abide in HIM. abide in His WORD for it is "The Christ of God".

If these words cut, they are supposed to Cut! For it is Like a "Double Edge Sword"! You know the story. The Word of God is for the people of God.

Why, because He loves us, His love is not like the worlds love, His Love is foolishness in the sight of the world. The world gives Promotions, to show their appreciations. God gives "trials and tribulations" and a "cross" for a trophy, and thorns for a crown, that all____ the world may see. and many of times costing us shame and humiliation, and one writer gave us a "slogan" "No Cross, No Crown"

Modern English translations are not watered down. They are simply translations into current English, rather than the language of 500 years ago. Biblical scholarship has taked advantage of new discoveries since the KJV was translated, so there are many minor improvements in accuracy and small detail. No doctrine hangs on any of these improvements in understanding.

There's a spectrum of approaches balancing readability and accuracy, and good options whatever your needs and personal preference.

If you are familiar and comfortable with the language of the KJV, stick with it. If you're finding the archaic language a struggle, there's a lot of excellent translations to look into.

My personal favourite is NRSV -- it's both accurate and elegant, good to read for private study and good to read out loud too.

Go for it Ploughboy, but I can't see the benefit of preaching to the converted, they are going to receive it with the kindness that God has blessed them with. The challenge would be, preaching it to the unsaved where you will encounter those who will challenge you vehemently and cause you to gird yourself with your armour and the sword of the Spirit. here you can do it in a tee shirt. bless you bro.

Go to Blue letter Bible.com and put in your verse then hover over tools and bibles will pop up giving the many different versions to the verse. I find it quite helpful.
There are at least 15 different translations. And you don't have to buy them.

I do see zeal in you, and that is commendable. But I also see a lot of conflict in your own theology.

If you are guilty, now is the time to repent.
You seem to believe in predestination, (basically all of TULIP) and you say we can't do anything to affect our salvation, but then you say we need to repent. How's that for a conflicting view?

for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.
You seem to believe in OSAS, but then you give warnings about participating in evil deeds, you seem to conflict your own theology in every other post.
You are over the place... your posts are difficult to follow because they seemingly go in different theological directions.

I'm sure Mr Penn was a good guy. But he's not the Bible and his opinions and teachings don't equal the Bible.

10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

Does that include people who teach conflicting theologies and teachings of earthly men?

I prefer the word "proclaimer" for i am not a preacher neither do I desired. to peach but a "proclaimer' of the unadulterated "WORD of GOD" in doing so, it will not please mankind. And The Jesus that i know from reading the bible, was hated by the world, None of them was good no not one! He died for evil people, not one is good, from the cradle to the grave. "All are sinners and deserve the wrath of the AlMighty God" according to Bible.

Now I cannot cut you without cutting myself! It is a "Double Edge Sword" and especially when you are on a "Battlefield"! and the blade is sharp!

Parable of the Sword of the LORD

1And the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2“Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and speak against the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel; 3and say to the land of Israel, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Behold, I am against you; and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off from you the righteous and the wicked. 4“Because I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore My sword will go forth from its sheath against all flesh from south to north. 5“Thus all flesh will know that I, the LORD, have drawn My sword out of its sheath. It will not return to its sheathagain.”’ 6“As for you, son of man, groan with breaking heart and bitter grief, groan in their sight. 7“And when they say to you, ‘Why do you groan?’ you shall say, ‘Because of the news that is coming; and every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes and it will happen,’ declares the Lord GOD.”
8Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

9“Son of man, prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the LORD.’ Say,
‘A sword, a sword sharpened
And also polished!

10‘Sharpened to make a slaughter,
Polished to flash like lightning!’
Or shall we rejoice, the rod of My son despising every tree?

11“It is given to be polished, that it may be handled; the sword is sharpened and polished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. 12“Cry out and wail, son of man; for it is against My people, it is against all the officials of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with My people, therefore strike your thigh.13“For there is a testing; and what if even the rod which despises will be no more?” declares the Lord GOD.

14“You therefore, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword for the slain. It is the sword for the great one slain, which surrounds them, 15that their hearts may melt, and many fall at all their gates. I have given the glittering sword. Ah! It is made for striking like lightning, it is wrapped up in readiness for slaughter. 16“Show yourself sharp, go to the right; set yourself; go to the left, wherever your edge is appointed. 17“I will also clap My hands together, and I will appease My wrath; I, the LORD, have spoken.”

John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

And the Logos was made flesh and dwelt among us........

Logos- Word, Plan, Reason........
If I tell you my plan is to water and feed your dogs while your on vacation then I am giving you my word that I will do just that.

In sending Jesus, God sent a Man, his only begotten Son (In the flesh) into the world to show us his Word which is/was his Plan to reconcile all things unto
himself through Jesus.

1Peter 2:21 "For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:"

Jesus knew no sin until God had made him to be sin and in doing so it was required that this man die for that sin which was ours.
He traded his right standing with the Father for our unrighteousness, and in return gave us his right standing with the Father.

This one act of Jesus, gave us justification unto life. (Rom 5:18) This was and remains the Plan or Word of God for ALL mankind as the propitiation for sin has been accomplished, that part of the Plan/Word is finished. The reconciliation is still ongoing I'm sure you would agree.

If you are to learn something then usually it is better that you are shown instead of told. But if told and shown, then you will get the best understanding.

God was in Jesus reconciling the world unto himself, but through Jesus. Thats the Plan and he's sticking to it, as there is no other name by which man must be saved.
He told us with words and showed us with the crucifixion and resurrection of his Son.

Now what did Jesus get out of all this? Was he just Gods whipping boy for our sin and he returned to the same subordinate position he held with the Father before
he came to be the sacrifice for sin? NO.

The Father has told us many times over there is no other God beside me in the OT. Isaiah 45:5, 44:6, 44:8, 45:21, Hos 13:4, Deu 32:39.

Then along comes Jesus who grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and men. Who once glorified was announced to the creation that he was now a God.
..........Heb 1:8 "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne O God is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness (symbol of power) is the scepter of thy kingdom."

We are told by Jesus who was speaking the words of his Father to "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

The righteousness of God was to trade your unrighteousness for the righteousness of Jesus, accomplished at his crucifixion. The kingdom of God is within you?
This spirit of the man that came from God, as everything comes from God (1Co 11:12), is the precious child waiting to be born in the image of its Father when
it is quickened upon Holy Ghost baptism. That new creature is a son of God. Therefore Gods habitation, just like he indwelled Jesus.

If this is true then why did Jesus receive the same quickening at Jordan? Could it be that he was just a man just like Adam (the second Adam) that needed to be born
from above? "The first Adam was made a living soul, the last Adam became a life giving Spirit."
It would seem that way as we mentioned earlier that he GREW IN WISDOM, so if he didn't possess all the wisdom of God he therefore could not have been God.
But to become a God and enter into the kingdom it was necessary for him just as it is for us. Again an example to follow.

He was given life within himself from the Father. (John 5:26)
He became a life giving Spirit (1 Co 15:45)
He was given all authority in heaven and in earth. (Matt 28:18)
He is to give life to as many as the Father has given him. (John 17:2)
He is to be the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit, quickens. (John 1:33)

All these things he was given and or commissioned to do by his Father, and Jesus tells us that whosoever overcomes as he did will sit in his throne just as he sat down
in his Fathers throne.
Sounds like he laid out a blueprint for us to follow whether you call it the Word of God or the Plan of God if you follow along you will come to the same rewards he
came to according to the Word of God.

What really makes things so complicated we don't know what A "GOD" is. we know some of the things he has done. Some. And we know He is incomprehensible. For it is impossible to phantom Him. We use human words like him, he, God, We talk and use human words like "throne" all of these words are just human words. These words are no where near to express this "Being". Human words says: "Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost" are one but different. In reality, on that final Day, It will be not like we understand now completely different.; But understandable.

John 1:18
New American Standard Bible
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

New King James Version
No one has seen God at any time. [but] The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

King James Bible
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Christian Standard Bible
No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s side —he has revealed him.

Contemporary English Version
No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.

I guess when He tells us what it has all been about on the great Day. It will be a WOW, moment. For the Bible says: it has been God's Secret what He has been doing in creating "Human".

(Revelation 21: 6)

King James Bible
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

But i know you know this. but the language getting here.

…7The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son. 8But to the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death.”

What really makes things so complicated we don't know what A "GOD" is.
From looking at Jesus Christ who became a life giving Spirit, that death has no dominion over, and who has all authority in heaven and earth, and as he said NOTHING
shall be impossible
to you as well as he, I would think we get a tiny picture of what a God is and isn't as all the above apply to the Father as well.
A God cannot die if death has no dominion over him, just as the second death has no dominion over those born again. They have passed from death unto life.
Those who shall sit with him in his role of King of kings will exercise authority over all the earth and the heavens and will judge angels.
Nothing shall be impossible to them, so use your imagination and it still falls woefully short of the reality that is to come.
But as you have quoted, "eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor entered into the heart of man the things that God hath prepared for those that love him."

"The plowmen plowed over my back; they made their furrows long" and sometimes they plowed deep"

Good News Translation
They cut deep wounds in my back and made it like a plowed field.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Plowmen plowed over my back; they made their furrows long.

International Standard Version
Wicked people ploughed over my back, creating long-lasting wounds."

The Cup of Wrath
…22Thus says your Lord, the LORD, even your God, who defends His people: “See, I have removed from your hand the cup of staggering. From that goblet, the cup of My fury, you will never drink again. 23I will place it in the hands of your tormentors, who told you: ‘Lie down, so we can walk over you.’ And you made your back like the ground, and like a street to be traversed.

Behold “The Christ of God”

Christ came to save not condemnation.
Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who believe.
Not that I can be perfect but that I want to be.
When I mess up, I am still saved...that is why Jesus came and died!

Fear not. If you truly believe, then OSAS is alive and well. The proof in this is that Jesus died once and for all of us!
