I Am Disgusted and Angered!

I've just learned of some cult group called "Raelians" who are led by some crazed and deluded fool called Rael who claims that Yahweh is an alien as is Jesus and that Noah, Moses, Muhammad and Joseph Smith live together on some planet called Elohim.

They believe that Yahweh will resurrect them via cloning through a computer. They participate in burning crosses and their beliefs are truly blasphemous. The deluded fool called Rael believes he is the brother of Jesus who is the son of Yahweh who is also the father of Rael and greeted him from a UFO that had been in a volcano for centuries.

They claimed the Catholic church was full of pedophiles and their women followers walk around almost topless.

I'm not normally a man of violence when it comes to insults but if I ever saw this Rael, I would smack him around his face.

If he his foolish and misguided followers do not repent, they will face the wrath of God - the creator of the universe who will punish them severely for abusing His name.

However, God is merciful and we are to only ask for forgiveness from our hearts and we would receive it. They can repent but they probably won't and as a result, Hell awaits them and all who claim to be the Saviour of the world. Christ predicted many would come claiming to be Him and He was right and He always is right.

Aliens

Sorry, but I am an alien too. A foreigner to this world. Not of the Earth, but a citizen of Heaven. Abraham was a tent dweller, a temporary resident of earth. From the eternal viewpoint, no Christian is of this world.

Born again Christians are all aliens in this world. We are sure treated like aliens. Don't be too tough on this alien whom is leading these people astray. Love your enemies and pray that they come to thier senses. An angry response will only entrench thier delusion.

I have to admit I have been angry many times. I will give you an example. In Australia, a christian is sometimes seen as being catholic. I have been asked whether I follow the instructions of the pope, etc.
Not nice when you lean towards fundamentalism. In fact, I don't even like being referred to as a fundamentalist. That makes me angry too. A nasty pigeon hole that people place us in.

I believe in JC, why, because of the holy spirit and the bible. God introduced himself to me through the supernatural intervention of the holy spirit. So I am not strictly a fundamentalist as such. The bible is the only way I have of understanding what my life is in Christ. But the holy spirit reveals what the bible says.

You know christianity began as a small group of men with revolutionary ideas.Also who are you to punish them in gods stead, slapping people because they believe differently than you isnt cool bro.

You're pretty quick to damn people to hell. You arn't God, why are you writing them off?

The bible tells us 'Judge not, less you be judged, for in the same measure you pour out, it shall be poured out to you'.

Would you like to be judged according to the standard that you've just judged these people?




PS. It's understandable to be angry when you see people deceived and God blasphemed in the process. Jesus did the same thing. But his anger was righteous. There's a difference between calling a spade a spade and writing someone off in Gods name. Totally. Only God can make that call.

(if you do a study on how and when Jesus rebuked people, you can gain a lot of understanding into the rights and wrongs of this issue. Other scriptures too about different men of God and even angels - ie even the arch-angel Michael refused to risk bringing a wrong accusation against satan but said 'the Lord rebuke you'.) Jude 1:9

If we hold back from telling the truth when we know it, the bible tells us that God can hold us guilty of that persons sin. But we are also judged by the way we judge others.

(It's not a hard line to walk if you're just honest.)

That Rael guy obviously is wrong about a great many things, this is not one of them.
