Saul's armour was too big, too heavy for David.

God's armour is too big, too heavy for us BUT we are to ''be strong in the Lord & in His mighty power to put on the whole armour -''that is His.

For the battle is against principalities & powers in the heavenlies.
( 99% in our minds.)

God has won our minds BUT circumstances & situaltions have been allowed to weaken our resolve & faith.

His yoke is light because He helps us with it all the time.

We have individually moulded armour for our protection, right down to our footwear.

& best of all The Battle is His & has been won at the cross.

i love your post there. you are right the lords armour is to big and to heavy and that was the armour that the lord gave to david to defeat goliath. i dont think that the lord puts us in situations to weaken us. rather to build us up and for us to put more faith in him as he lets us know that he is watching over us.

Yes, brother
We serve an awesome God.

well without the lord jesus christ we cant do anything except kneel to the devil. that is exactly what we will do anyway.

><> Not biblically true :shock:for those who have been freed by the shed blood of Jesus & are filled with His holy spirit.

One thing to ponder....
Just as David could not use Saul's armor, so we cannot be saved on the basis of another's salvation. We are not annointed because someone we know has been annointed. We must have our own. Our relationship with God is a personal one, thanks to Jesus, and everyone has a chance to have one of their own with Jesus.
Just You and me, God.

Of course this is not regarding small children with godly parents, who are protected through their parents faith, as the Bible says.
