How to Overcome Loneliness
Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matt 11:28)
You can be lonely even when you are sitting in a crowded room because your mind and heart is far away and something or someone has caught your heart and mind. This captivity will step-by-step rob you of the wonderful and abundant life that Jesus Christ has promised to all who follow Him.
Remember you are made of 3 parts: body, soul and spirit. And your heart and mind (which are in the soul-ish realm) have to be commanded to trust Jesus Christ.
The Bible says that "The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory" (Psa 64:10) and "Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8)
So what should you do? Jesus has given you the authority to cast out these evil spirits with His Name.
To do this, pray: In Jesus Name, I command every evil spirit of loneliness and depression to leave me. I command you to go and never return. I receive the spirit of peace and joy from Jesus Christ. I command my heart and mind to focus on Christ and for my soul to cling to Jesus Christ as He is the husband of my soul. Lord, I want to be Your disciple, a disciple who is like a light in the world that points others to You. Amen.
