How is Your Prayer Life?

So, how is your prayer life? Such a simple question, but oh the fear and guilt it can produce. It really shouldn't be this way. Our Heavenly Father earnestly desires for an intimate relationship with His children. He loves YOU. He created you for sweet fellowship with Him. Prayer is our lifeline to God. It is our spiritual connection to Him.

Ephesians 6 concludes the section on Spiritual Warfare by encouraging believers to pray about all things and for all people at all times. In relation to the other pieces of Spiritual Armor, I'd like to refer to it as the Bow of Prayer. This weapon allows for strategic, long-range, offensive attacks. The Bow of Prayer is the one weapon we can use to battle the enemy wherever he is. Countless stories have been told of missionaries whose lives were miraculously saved at the same moment someone was faithful to drop on their knees and pray for them. That is more than coincidence; it is the power of prayer!

There are two types of prayer that are particularly powerful. They are Scripture Prayer and Spirit-led Prayer. Scripture prayer is awesome because you are combining God's Holy Word with your passionate prayers. Taking passages from the Bible and turning them into prayers is a very accurate way to use your Bow of Prayer. Spirit-led Prayer is letting God's Holy Spirit lead you and guide you in the prayer process. He will prompt you when to pray and remind you how to pray. Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit will greatly enhance the effectiveness of your prayers. No weapon has any value to a soldier until he picks it up and uses it. The more he trains with it the more successful he becomes with it. Take up the Bow of Prayer and talk with your Heavenly Father today! God be with you all...

Amen sister.

Being still before God can transform a life, metamorphose a mind and reset purpose and direction for eternity.
The sad heart is cheered,
the confused mind is ordered,
the pessimistic outlook is eliminated,
the lonely spirit is befriended,
the rebellious will is subdued and
the drifting seeker made steadfast.

Prayer is the most important part of any Christians life.

Blessings!
