I have always felt an affinity with Wild Mustangs. -Coconut (quote away! :`)
There I said it. :coocoo:
This kinship of spirit may have started way back on the farm, where I once tried to ride a wild pony, and it bucked me so hard and so fast I had the breath knocked out of me for what seemed like an eternity. I picked myself up off the ground, and glared at the horse, and it glared right back. That horse simply could not, would not, be tamed...one of us had to back down...
If you know anything about wild horses you will probably already know this little bit of fascinating info...
"There are strict guidelines for techniques used to round up Mustangs. One method uses a tamed horse, called a "Judas horse," which has been trained to lead wild horses into a pen or corral. Once the Mustangs are herded into an area near the holding pen, the Judas horse is released. Its job is then to move to the head of the herd and lead them into a confined area." -Wikipedia,
I shared that to say this:
I am a Spiritual Mustang...a free Spirit if you will....when a 'Judas horse' comes along and tries to rope me, or corral me, and fence me in...I will BUCK...by order of Christ! :`)
"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." (Gal 5)
"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." (John 3)
I was re-born FREE! THANK GOD THANK GOD THANK GOD I AM FREE, FREE FREE AT LAST!

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it. ~Author Unknown
A horse loves freedom, and the weariest old work horse will roll on the ground or break into a lumbering gallop when he is turned loose into the open. ~Gerald Raferty
One reason why birds and horses are happy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses. ~Dale Carnegie
A horse doesn't care how much you know, until he knows how much you care. ~Pat Parelli
Look back at our struggle for freedom,
Trace our present day's strength to it's source;
And you'll find that man's pathway to glory
Is strewn with the bones of the horse.

♫ Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home ♫
