Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
To be baptized or immersed in something is to get more than wet. As we soak, saturate and remain under that anointing we are permeated and transformed. It is kind of like pickling a cucumber - it goes in one way and comes out something quite different . The end result is that it reflects the flavor of that which in it was immersed. This is God's will for you but do not strive to achieve it- this gift like all God's blessings must be received by faith. Get some place quiet and set an atmosphere of worship and pray something like this:
Father I ask in Jesus Name that You pour out Your Holy Spirit on me like on the day of Pentecost. Wash me in the blood of Jesus, forgive my sins and purge me of my iniquities, fill me with You Oil and use me for Your glory.
Believe God for it.
I am believing God for great things in your life!
Many blessings in Jesus Name,
your brother Larry.
