Our God is awesome and none can compare. THink of who He is and why He created you. Think of the price He paid to remove all barriers to your fellowship with Himself, then think of this:
Angels glorious beyond our comprehension have stood in His presence for countless mellenia and yet each time the look at Him they are awed to the point where all the can do is cry out. Overwhelmed and taken completely by surprise one can imagine one of them looking at the other and saying whoa- did you see that" Whoa- Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
His glory is endless, His end beyond knowing, His beauty imcomperable, His power immeasurable, His love unequaled. Literally He is to much to take in and entering His proximity moves one beyond mere words.
When we too get in His presence we to will find that though we have looked upon Him for thousands of centuries we will still be awestruck; we will still be seeing more of His glory.
So awesome, so great is He and yet He created you to be His companion. Just the thought makes me want to cry out "Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty, which was and is and is to come"!
Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
Rev 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
