His light is always there even when your eyes can't see

It seems dark
Deep in this heart
Lonely
I cry out... If Only?

I can't find the switch
I fumble and seek
Lost
Can't seem to reach!

No click
No clunk
No new bulb
No stunt

The lights not out
But someones at home
For deep in my heart
Sweet Jesus still roams

He never left
Nor turned off the light
You see he is the stars and the moon
Are there in the night

And when things are brighter
I'll see his sun shine
Bright as the beacon
Pure and divine

He's the light in my heart
The day and night
And my fear of the dark
Had crippled my sight

He's there in the dark
When things look bleak
Even that slight twinkle
Is still there though I felt weak

It's that very faint glimmer that catches my eye
Then the love overfllows
Light floods that night sky
Jesus is with us when all looks so dull
Reminding us gently what we need to know
