I'm Leana Jo H. I live in Arizona. Been in Arizona since 2001. Served 6 years in the U.S. Army (1995-2001). Married to the same wonderful man for 14 years now. Originally, born and raised in southeast Texas.
I guess I'm a typical Capricorn (not that I don't believe fully on astrology, but it's fun to read about it sometimes). I love all things natural, love jewelry (particularly turquoise/Native American stuff), animals (especially fond to Pugs, my favorite dog breed), beaches, jogging, walking, Pilates/Yoga, and praying/meditating. I love simple clothing also (love anything terrycloth in the summer, to wear over my swimsuits), jeans, peasant type shirts and camisoles, anything with Mexican embroidery on it, and sandals. Just your simple, average lady who loves Christ.
I'm Italian, Irish, and Cherokee Indian (my grandma was a full-blood Cherokee Indian. She named me "Shining Star" when I was born). She was a great Christian lady. I used to go to church with her on some weekends. She was the only Born Again Christian in the family.
Accepted Jesus Christ into my life in September 2004. But have back slide a few times since (the last time being in January 2010). I'm a recovering binge drinker also (alcoholic). But getting back on track with Jesus again and this time it's sticking. The power of believing, huh?
Well, I hope to meet some new friends on here and have a good time on this site. It's very helpful too.
