My name is Ninshaska. Due to publicity reasons, I can not reveal my real name. BUT! I digress...
I am not only here to discuss and chat all things Jesus with you all, but I am also here to ask for prayers for a project that I am working on with some fellow brothers. This project is very near and dear to my heart, because I believe this is the mission field that God has called me to. I am currently on a mission, to make a "Christian Video Game".
The reason I call it a "Christian Game", is because we're aiming to make this a game that people who wouldn't even give Christ a chance, would pick up and actually play. I have seen all growing up in public school, this resentment towards Christ that just boggled my mind for the longest time. Until one day, I realized that a group of Believers were going around, and casting judgement and condemnation upon non-believers. Taking God's job into their own hands, rather than loving them the way Jesus told them to, I realized that this was where a good portion of this "Auto-Jesus-Rejection" reflex in my fellow peers, was coming from. I was able to minister to some of my personal friends, by God putting me in the right place with the right words. I used the words that He gave me to say "Dude, not all Christians are here to cast judgement on you. God LOVES you as a person... He may hate your sins, but He loves you as a person!". But because I didn't have the "Judge" identity with my personal friends, I didn't get the "Auto-Jesus-Rejection". I was able to fly in there, like a stealth bomber, and tear down the walls they had built up against God... My game... Aims to do the same thing... Best part is, those who aren't searching for the Biblical Truths and Allegory, won't notice it at first within my game.
While they're playing this game, they're partaking in our game as a whole and they are reading our stories that are all built upon Core Biblical Teachings. To give a better explanation of what we're aiming for, would be like examining some of the pieces of work given to us by C.S. Lewis, and/or even Tolkien. I have often dreamed that God would bless our writings to some day be able to be even mentioned in the same sentence as God-Ordained artists such as them. But we aim to make a game that delivers The Message of Christ to the people in a new way.
