Hi all, just to intoduce myself to you all. I feel a little like an entrant in the 'Big Brother' program. This is one awesome web site. There is so much to see and do, I have never seen as good a Christian forum as this. And I promise I'm not just saying it to earn stars from the admin team. I truly think you have done a brilliant job in setting it all up. All credit and blessings to you.

Well, I see I'm not the only Brit here, which is good, as at least there will be some that understand my sense of humour!

As I was reading down the list of the Mods I was finally relieved to come across Ed and Stephen! Phew! For a while there I thought I was gonna be the grand pappy amongst all you young dudes! I turned 60 just a couple of weeks ago and it feels great.

I help out on the Got Questions web site but I'm thinking better of it now. I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Still, it's an encouraging ministry as the latest report states that over 7,000 souls have come to a faith in the Lord Jesus since it began a few years ago.

I'm looking forward to hanging out with you all. Apart from my 3 legged doggy, (No kidding) Toby, I live alone with Jesus in my apartment and have no friends in the area. The church I attend is some 20 miles away so I only get to fellowship with them occasionally. But its brilliant when I do. They are such a loving bunch of believers.

Sorry, I do tend to waffle on sometimes. Please feel fee to butt in if I do. I'll find an emoticon to put alongside my posts. I don't think it should be a picture of myself, unless you think it might be useful for your fridge door to keep the kids away from the ice cream! :wink:

Thank you both for you welcome. As beam has made over 100 posts I imagine he doesn't need much in the way of help on the site. Beam, as it is your 1st post, I would just suggest you visit the different topics and get a feel for what posts are being made, then make your own contributions. Good thing I have discovered with this forum is that no one puts you down if you're not quite up to speed. There are some loving people here and well worth getting to know. If you have any queries you will have to search the Help section but don't expect a reply from Chad the administrator. He's much to busy to speak with us mere mortals! You might try one of the moderators, but again, you may have to try more than one. :wink:
