It's a good reminder for me that I'm a great sinner and that Christ is an even great Saviour! I'm undeserving of what He's done for me, and yet, He still continues to give me what I don't deserve, like having my sins forgiven and Him saving me.

Well whatever helps and blesses you; you must be pretty nice if you need to be reminded of your past condition :smiley: - this dead world is enough to keep my face in the reality of sin. My challenge is to remind myself constantly that I'm not part of it anymore: I'm the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2Cor.5:21) because that's where the power begins. God sees me through His Eye, which is Christ and I look back at Him through my Eye, which is Christ and all I see is Their Love.
Matthew 6:22 `The lamp of the body is the eye, if, therefore, thine eye may be perfect, all thy body shall be enlightened, 23 but if thine eye may be evil, all thy body shall be dark; if, therefore, the light that [is] in thee is darkness -- the darkness, how great!YLT

I'll have to call you WW if Sister in Christ Jesus is not what you desire to be called.

We all can look back at who we were before we were Born Again, and now see the wretched person we were then without our Lord Jesus Christ in our life!

Yet I pray you do not dwell there, for that is the past. Now you are a new Creation, a Child of the Most High!
Families might disappoint, but our Savior never will!

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
