hello everyone, new to this.


Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice, went to church recently, noticed something in "Christians" - how do I get that "something"? Hope you understand what I am trying to say (not sure myself), just thought there must be something more to life than this. Sat here wondering what to do next !!!

Bev,
you're in the right place. That something is Christ living in the hearts and lives of His children (christians). Christ (God) came to earth in the form of a man and he died to save us from our sins. Because of his death, and more importantly his resurrection, we (all who accept him) can have everlasting life. The moment we believe in Christ and acknowledge Him as our Lord and King and declare Him as our savior, and turn away from our sinful ways, we become saved. It's that simple.
But it doesn't end there. Christ has sent the Holy Spirit (who is also God) to be with us on this earth. This is the difference you see in true christians. We have changed lives...lives changed by God's grace and not our will. It's a beautiful thing.

God has shown you the way, and what those christians did to you the other night, they were wrong in doing so, and God must have been dissapointed. but please, don't let go to his everlasting love! i will surely treat like an individual, and maybe we can chat, but please don't stop being a christian because of what they did!

I'm sorry you had that experience, Bev. That just shows us that we are not perfect, but being made so. You yourself said you saw something.......and that's good. Please don't be discouraged by imperfections. Please stop by again, so we can talk some more.

Bev, please listen to your brothers and sisters from their replies to your original thread. I have also gone into Live Chat and felt a feeling of darkness from someone that directed a comment to me in front of everybody and worse so, in the outside world. Bev..It hurts, it does..

We all take a step back, immediately give it to God, let Him know how shocked we were, then give it to Him. Allow Jesus to work through you and all of us. But leaving just like that would be devastating, especially if that was God's attitude toward you and us when we hurt Him.

I am sorry that you were hurt. But the truth is, you are already loved here, Bev. Please forgive us? Give it time. Then please come back? We need you, too.

I just want you all to know that I was in the chat room with a few others (no names will be specified). In defense of the Christians in the chat room, NO ONE abused this person at all. He felt the need to insult us an call us names out of the sudden blue, judging us and telling us we are not Christians. That is obviously not going to help anyone for that matter get a response. What did you honestly expect? Did you expect them to be polite also (which in fact, they were 'holding' in their frustration at your attitude). You are completely in the wrong and why you felt the need to burst and lash out at us is beyond me. I have the actual transcripts of the entire chat. Please don't make up lies and insult us. That is not going to be tolerated, nor deceiving my other brothers & sisters here on the board. If you want us to help you, you have to learn to be respectful and HONEST. GOD is TRUTH, so speak in Truth.

Don't come here to judge people. You are not perfect, neither am I or anyone else. And a reminder for your insulting comments out of the blue, you are not GOD to judge us and tell us we are not Christians.

This site was built by me and inspired by GOD for good reasons, and little do you know how powerful it is. My suggestion is to humble yourself and apologize (aka ask for forgiveness) first to GOD and then us Christians whom you've insulted and judged. Then we can continue to help you grow as a mature Christian. That is step 1 for you. Step 2 is to learn furthermore about the feeling of Christians as you mentioned in your first post.

I was also in the chat room when Bev was there. I was chatting with Chad and another individual then on the screen Bev's comment took away from our conversation as it accused us of as not being Christian and that we had pushed her over the edge. Consideration that Chad and I had not spoken with Bev we were completely baffeled. We both asked for clarification. What came were accusations after accusations but no discussion or interaction came from Bev. I repeatedly asked Bev how we could help her but absolutly nothing came from her. I personal messaged her as well asking how I could help. Nothing came from Bev. I again sent her another personal message asking how I could be of assistance, no reply to this date. So, considering that this is the internet and we communicate via typing it would be beneficial in future to correspond to people as opposed to making accusation with no substance. Am I angered by this person, absolutley not, I find the actions displayed of that of a very young person needing help and counsel and requires assistance in communication.

You want help Bev but you have to do the work as to what you want to get across, we cannot read your mind.

Im very sorry to hear about your experience in the chat room,some Christians think they know all there is about scripture and find it hard to take criticisim themselves.Like the story of Judas who wanted it his way,not even the Son of God changed his ways.More often then not it is better to listen than to judge.I too have come across a few self rightious people that think they where chosen to lead the world to salvation.That person already came and his name was Jesus.We all fall short of the Glory of God,and thus should not assume we are him.Have faith and look within yourself,for there is where the Spirit of God dwells.Dont be fooled, all people fall under the Grace of God.May God pour his infinite blessing upon you and show you the way your heart needs to be mended.Bless you

Please dont get me wrong but isnt this suppose to be a christian web site ,devoted to God?And if so besides the lounge is it not for the help of people searching for enlightenment?If so why do you a commercial under your responces to sell web site server site.Isnt this like the money changers in the temple?Are you trying to capitalize on the christian audience?Just a thought.

Wilderness...the thought you had was not well thought out...I'm shocked. So Christians cannot be businessmen? How is this site even equated with being a temple? What is wrong with advertisement? How does Zondervan sell their Bibles? How do various Christian artist sell their music? Christian musicians sell t-shirts at their concerts does that make it wrong? Very confusing statement or thought you expressed. I do not understand.

As for searching and helping individuals we all do that but this Bev did not ask any questions, there was no conversation from her what so ever.

Bratcliffe, PRAY and the lord will anwser! Prayer is the best thing to do, the Bible says thet we just need to ask and we willl recive, and we have to knock and it willl be open! Pray thet is the best advice I can give you and God will be faithful enough to anwser your prayer.

Your quite amusing Wilderness. Are you paying to advertise this site on Google? Are you spending nearly 24/7 administrating it? Are you telling me GOD has problems with me advertising my own business which pays for this site in the first place? Do you have a problem with this? Show me Scripture or else don't show me anything please. I don't need your judgementalism about the ads on the site. The only "ads" is my own business. Everything else is free links to inform others of Christian sites. So for your information this site is Christian in case you have not seen it with open eyes instead of an open mouth.

You were not here for the last 2 years helping Christians. Did GOD not say there is a time to speak and a time to keep shut? Your time is to not speak here because your wrong and certainly offended me. But, I do not care for your view anyway because I know what GOD has done through me, for me and with me to help others.

Somehow my business ads makes the site no longer Christian and able to seek englightness. How incredibly genius of you.

Please read my previous post about you wildnerness. The horrible view and assumptions of my 'ads' on my site goes to perfectly show that you are one of the Christians that thinks they know it all about Scripture.

Well I finally read this answer,and frankly a plain answer like it helps to pay the bills was enough.I certainly didnt mean to offend you to the point that you would actually call me non christian.It was a simple question that needed a simple answer.And for you to offend me and come to the conclusion that I think I know all there is about scripture is really unchristian.You dont know me or whats in my heart.I think you need this site more than those that come here.Ive seen how you treat people on this site that dont agree with you.You judge and ban.You should take a honest look at yourself.Yes you created this site but God made it happen,so spare me the tears about your toiling for 2 years.I will now depart from your site so as to spare you the pleasure of using the ban button,and giving yourself a false sense of power.Goodbye and God bles you.
