There is nothing like the Power of Prayer. earnestly meant form the heart.

Boy, do I need your prayers right now.
I have this dream of raising $20 million dollars to put into a Trust Foundation (like Bill Gates, only a whole lot smaller, because I don't have his money).
The idea of the Foundation is to feed poor orphaned kids, and others, living in abject poverty in places like North Korea.
What? . . . NORTH Korea?
Well, yeah! They are totally oppressed there. They have no hope whatsoever. If anyonr ever needed Christ coming into their lives, the poor children of this otherwise God-forsaken country surely do.

Is it their fault that they were born under a despotic dictator who can find heaps for a nuclear program, but can't feed his starving people?

They desperately need our prayers, and ultimately our financial and physical help, and I intend to get it to them. . . somehow.

To be honest, I have no idea exactly how it will all come about, but God is on my side and I'm going to give it my best shot.

So please, please pray like . . heck.

With your prayerful help, I am sure we'll soon feed these kids - and show their hideous political leaders who the real people are on this planet, God's people!
Doug.

I like your dream ( feeding the children part) and prayed for you.
Have you been involved in any ministry like this before?

Thank you

Thank you so much for your prayers.

I am not a minister. I teach Sunday school and am a member of the Church council at my church in Melbourne Australia. My wife is Korean, and we are members of the Korean Uniting Church of Melbourne. There are around 1,000 members of our church and we help fund an orphanage in the far north of North Korea. We have two missionary couples there right now.
They need our prayers and support. Your prayers are a wonderful blessing and I am sincerely grateful for them.
God bless you.

Doug.

I will pray for you. On March I saw a video about North Korea. It drived me into tears. My heart is broken at seeing the kid picking up rice in the mud and putting it into his mouth near a market. Let's pray for God's hand tearing down the evil power over there!
