Help in Recovery for my son

I recently had emergency surgery and I've been having a difficult time in recovery. It's expected to last a month and the pain is hard. I'm blessed with a loving family and a beautiful family in God. I've had so much support and help its amazing. I ask for prayer during my recovery..for healing.

I am also a single parent to a seven year old son. Ever since my surgery he has been acting out. He relates hospitals to my recent grandfathers death and my son spent my first two nights in the hospital terrified to see me because he thought I was dying. Through support and effort he has come around but he still acts out occasionally. He doesn't understand and he's scared. Due to my surgery I can't always calm him and care for him like I use to. He often has to sit on the bed with me and I can't reach him when he's crouched in the corner in tears. Please pray for comfort to surround my son and that the Lord will lead him through this time in his life. That he will have understanding and acceptance.

Aw Isbah- bless your heart! I will pray that your son will come to peace with this and not be afraid. I also will pray that you will heal and have comfort during your healing. As a mother myself I know how hard it is to want to hold your child and comfort them but you cant for various reasons. I pray that you will recover quickly and that your son will see that his mommy is going to be ok and that the Lord will touch him and take away his fears and acting out.
Love to you Isbah.

dear Lord,

I lift You up my beloved sister in Your name right now who has just her surgery. I ask for fast recovery and healing from her operation. Help her too, to comfort her son who is scared due to her condition. We are thankful Lord for giving her an amazing family and providing for the supports she needed now. Strengthen her Lord i pray, and bless also her entire household. We thank you for her healing and for comforting her son. In Jesus name. Amen

Dear Sis. Vanz,

Try speaking to your son not to worry or be scared about what he sees on you for Jesus is there to help both of you. Try to transfer to him your faith and trust in the Lord. I usually do this thing to my nieces and nephews though they are still that young. Helping them too to trust and pray (as in letting them to repeat after me in my prayer, as if they are the one praying)... Hehe.. Amen

God bless you and may God continue to remind me to pray for you always.. Praise the Lord .... Jesus loves you.. Amen

God bless and see you later..

Wonderful advice Rey, thank you. Last night he asked me when I was going back to the hospital and he was relieved when I explained I was home as long as I took care of myself. We often pray together but my son is a boy who keeps to himself. We read scripture together at night and sometimes he does speak on it or when he does its often after days of digesting it. I'm finding he is processing my surgery the same way. He will ask questions days later. I'm not too social myself and I do keep to myself. I have a close relationship with the Lord but my "prayer closet" is my comfort; I've noticed the same for my son. I hope you had a wonderful New Years.

With Love,
Vanessa

Thank you Wendy, that is sweet. He is doing better today. It is such a comfort to get prayer from those who understand and can offer hope as well.

Take care

Dear sister IsbahIshbah

I feel for you sister, recovering from surgery and looking after your 7 year old son. I join in prayer with our dear sisters Wendy and Reymielin.

O Lord, surround IsbahIshbah and her son with Your tender loving presence. Lord bring speedy recovery to our sister and comfort to her little boy. May they both rejoice in Your love and in the knowledge that You will keep them. May these difficult days be turned into days of closeness to Thee O Lord and be filled with the joy of Thy beautiful peace, comfort and love.

God bless you sister.....I am praying
